I'll provide the choir for that song. Quite possibly Sam, Erin, Rachael and myself to be exact. (JB, maybe?)

All you have to do is keep it in your set.

So if anyone needs back-up vox, please send me links and lyrics to your songs. I am also happy to participate as a tambo-shaker-hand clapping fool.
Since you've thrown it out there, would you like to sing backup on my Thinkin' About the Old Days? Lyrics are in the appropriate thread.

I am looking for volunteers to accomplish the following tasks:

1. Read the spoken word parts on Sorry To Inform You. You need to be able to say large words like "deportation" and "naturalization" in a very professional, detached, and bureaucratic manner.

2. Play keyboards on City in Fog.

Any takers?

I could take a whack at either instrument, but it might be incredibly horrible.
Gimmie one good reason not to do it.

Well, my basslines are pretty simple so if you can play guitar and if there's a fretted bass then that would probably be fine.

As far as folks I would specifically want to be on the missing instruments (only because you are known quantities of being awesome at my songs and this is not at all intended as a slight against any of the many other talented musicians who are showing up):

Bass: Glenn, Ken, Hoblit, or Roymond
Drums: Glenn, Ken

Also, Glenn and Ken, could we do Elvis In Space in one of our sets? I promise I will not fuck up my lines this time. I've gotten a lot better about these things since Austin.

Also it seems that my wrists aren't as bad as I thought, so I'm not quite so worried about playing guitar on my own songs.

I was also thinking that it would be fun to play that song at some point since we'll all be there. Have never played drums for anyone else's set before, but it could be fun. Would probably be more comfortable on bass, but let me know either way. I'll play either.

ROCK!

I need someone who can play string-samples keys on one song. Any takers?

Hi all, my band would like a drummer to play for one or two songs:

Please the Pig (French rap song)
A promise is a promise

Both of these are god awful easy songs to learn, and will require only a little practice time on Saturday before we play.
I will also be able to send mp3s of the current arrangements.
If you're interested please let me know (pm)

UMMM, I could reprise my role as drummer. Or at least I could audition.

Thanks for all the pm's guys, you rock!
Ken's played these songs before so I think the guys wanted to go with him.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
