I'm starting to upload videos to vimeo.

I have about 117 videos to upload. Last night I did 4. You can see Frankie, at the link above, there's Zipline, J-Mann, and Ken & Jenn. So far. They'll trickle in at about 4 or 5 a day.

I'm doing the live fight first.

PM me if my camera's audio is your regular fight submission.
PM me if there's a particular song you're just dying to see and I can prioritize.
I get to do 5 GB a week, and your 3:30 song is about 180MB

Cheers!

Awesome! Was I that hard to hear in person? Everyone else sounds roughly how I remember it from the audience so, oh well.

I heard it ok, but for some reason, Vimeo does not do video smoothly on my office computer. It might have something to do with the fact that it's a 933khz processor, lol.

BUT, it's still entertaining. While I was watching you, the singing is smooth, but it's like watching a slide show, so you looked like this the whole song......Image

Fine!

The eleven songs plus the judgement will be trickling on to You Tube over the next hour.

I'm "glenartrock" on youtube.

For High utility and lower quality go to You Tube

No, the vimeo player destroys my computer, too. Dunno what it is that does it, I have no problem playing full HD using VLC or mplayer, and all the youtube HD stuff is fine, but vimeo is unusably slow.

I find You Tube to be slow, and ugly. EDIT: when you compress everything

Vimeo works great for me, but you're not the 1st to tell me of these woes. I wonder why this is for some people.

eventually they'll be in both places.

Might have somethign to do with the particular codec and bitrate selected in their respective video formats? That stuff can be pretty crappy even within Flash.

JB, I don't know if it's because I'm intoxicated, or your photografity skillz, but those pics really grab the moment wonderfully. This time I'm serious, no fuckin' around. I need inspiration to write from pictures, and I could from some of these.

So every 6 months or so for the last 2 years, I take video footage in HD of some Song Fight Live event in New York or Spokane or San Francisco or the Prisoners living room.

Each time I bitch about You Tube and praise Vimeo.

I have to change my mind here.

You Tube now accepts MTS files!!!!!!!
This is huge, it's no longer a 4 step process. Just upload the damn thing!
There's no limit to how much you can upload (that I've seen yet)

You Tube rules! I am sorry for my complaints.

They finally caught up!
