Apparently, you weren't. ;-)

Back in ATL, alive but dead tired. It was AWESOME meeting the new folks and seeing old friends again.

That would be hard to do without a cellphone.

And anyway I'm already at the airport. Had breakfast, a wander, and lunch with inevitableguy, then sat down to check my email just as the airport shuttle appeared. Oh well.

This was a great few days. I loved seeing everyone again and hearing everyone perform and performing alongside better musicians than myself. It also felt weird being back in NYC but towards the end I felt a lot better about it, after finally exorcising some demons that had been haunting me for a while.

1. Thank you for the very positive energy. Meeting everyone was really amazing for me and so very much worth getting over being freaky about going outside (which I do not do very much usually).
2. If a recording of the concert is never realized, I will be just fine. When tiny fish surface in New York city, perhaps they should stay there. That is just my opinion. Other people's performances were probably cannon-worthy, I felt. :)
3. Drinking Manhattan Glutton under the table... "Whatever!" to that!!! ;) I do have a honey of a photo of drinking lovely drinks with him and a very cool looking one of Lunkhead.
4. Thanks everyone who hung out with me so much and made sure that i did not fall into the Subway Caves or step into Dangerous Boulevards of Doom.
5. I am on a connecting flight in Minneapolis eating very ickstacobular spinach artichoke dip. It will suffice.

I would totally like to see photos including ones described in this post.

So there is no good recording? Damn, just like Atlanta. I have been sad for years that my live show with Starfinger never appeared.

Whoo! Song Fight Live was awesome! It was great to meet a bunch of folks for the first time, see some of the regulars, and see a few people I haven't seen in years. Seeing JB and Ken Flagg and MC Frontalot brought me back to the Song Fight! Presents gig in Berkeley in 2004 (the show that got shut down by the cops because sonofsupercar was too loud!). Many many thanks to Niveous, Roymond, and everybody who helped make the shows work.

Fluffy live - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1O1EHgjvmM

beware: iphone video.

I'll have Denise doing Vest Factory once I figure out how to rotate the video.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

1. Just turn it clockwise to the desired position.
2. Just turn it counterclockwise to the desired position.

Hey all. That was pretty fun. As many of you know, I have been buried here with work, so it was nice to literally steal away, hang with some old friends, and meet some new ones. Thanks to the band - fluffy, Mike, and Jon - for humoring me by playing on a more or less impromptu set.

But most of all, I would like to publicly thank Roymond and his gracious family for putting me up for two nights on zero notice. That's going the extra mile.

Wherever we end up next year, I hope to be there again!

FYI: I've posted some pics of the Beer Garden performance on my Facebook. Sorry, I completely forgot to snap pics of Sunday night.

Hey. Sidewalk Cafe is open for business again and taking bookings.

They do owe us a night, don't they....

Anyone up for another night of Songfight in the big apple?
