I'm there. I'll probably be bringing Allyson, too.

In July, Seattle is bright and sunny. And there's like three hours of night.

How about "Sleepy and Deprived?" (or "Sleepy and Caffeinated")

Hell, you can just call it "Coffee and Beer." It describes both the Seattle experience and the Song Fight Live experience in a simple and direct manner.

If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

I know it's early for logistics, but I sort of have to set expectations at home, and doing so here helps my case.

I will try and arrive on the 11th, and leave late on the 15th or on the 16th. Last time, I took a detour to Mt Rainier on the way to the airport, which was was truly fabulous, even for a one day visit. So if anyone is interested start thinking extracurricular.

38th Annual Ballard Seafood Fest

I love Ballard! Might be my favorite neighborhood in all of Seattle. Could be a fun day activity, or an alternate idea for those with family (like Roy).

Check this out! Maybe have some folks from SongFight! play a short set and plug the live show later that day/next day.

Music/Entertainment Groups: We only book a limited number of acts, so please be advised. If you wish to submit information about your group, send it to: seafoodfest@ballardchamber.com. Our music coordinator will contact you if we are interested in having you participate.

This is also a fun, cool thing to check out while in or near Ballard.

The dates I'll be searching for when I buy my plane tickets (and therefore also the dates I'll be requesting off from my employer) will depend on whether the show dates are Friday-Saturday, or Saturday-Sunday. Can we nail that down relatively quickly? My vote is for Friday-Saturday, and then we can devote Sunday to unwinding, relaxing, perhaps a casual event akin to the brunch that Glenn and Rachel threw in Spokane, and of course travel arrangements back home.

You're a saint, Spud.

This is tentative, but I'm going to shoot to arrive in Seattle sometime Thursday afternoon, and leave sometime Sunday.

i was there last year, the neighborhood pretty much closes for this, making traffic a cluster fuck, and finding parking pretty damn hard. I like Ballard too.

I have an open guest bedroom if anyone needs it. I live 20 minutes north of downtown.

Not sure if your taking venue suggestions, but the Gypsy cafe in fremont is a pretty laid back venue.
