Even one would be better than none (especially if the one has a cup holder). Thanks dre!

Anyone have an iPad clamp? I just realized that I wear reading glasses now and have no idea how this is going to work on stage. I guess I could print my lyrics on 11 x 17 paper. One day we'll all wear Google Glass (ugh...)

Re: Song Fight! Live 2012 Seattle Gear List
Did the new speakers get installed?
Can we make sure there is a decent acoustic guitar there with standard tuning? (Glenn, are you bringing one?)
Spud, do you plan to route the inputs through your Behringer for Friday? The powerpod has no EQ, reverb, compression, etc.

The power pod has 4 inputs, basic high/low EQ and "Variable digital delay." Should be enough for a few mics and an acoustic guitar. You could also plug things into the Behringer Mixer and plug that in the power pod for additional channels if needed.

Re: Song Fight! Live 2012 Seattle Gear List
Hmm...the gear I offered up didn't make it to Spud's official list. All of my guitars are available (one electric, one acoustic w/ pickup, and one bass). My amp has an intermittent short that I've been too lazy to fix, so I plan on bringing it over for practices, but we probably need a better amp solution for the Friday gig.

I will check back in with the venue. My PMX2000 is certainly available if we need it, as is my Yamaha mixer.

Oh, will there be some way to connect an iPod/iPad/etc. type device with a headphone jack to the PAs? Folks will probably need that.

You talking about a cable, Sam, or something more complicated?Lunkhead wrote:Oh, will there be some way to connect an iPod/iPad/etc. type device with a headphone jack to the PAs? Folks will probably need that.
Re: Song Fight! Live 2012 Seattle Gear List
So one Drum kit for all sets Friday or no. I have about 2 hour window today If I have to get one together.

Sure, a cable, or a cable and adapters, etc. Whatever one or more items it takes to connect such a device to the PA. There are different ways to go about it, but any one is fine.Spud wrote:You talking about a cable, Sam, or something more complicated?Lunkhead wrote:Oh, will there be some way to connect an iPod/iPad/etc. type device with a headphone jack to the PAs? Re: Song Fight! Live 2012 Seattle Gear List
Depends on whether these are good enough or not:
For those who have played them before, main upgrades are new lugs on the bass and a new (used) snare.
Please advise and comment.

Re: Song Fight! Live 2012 Seattle Gear List
If you guys need a guitar amp, I have a small Fender Sidekick Reverb 25 that I repaired (I think). It tests OK. Solid state, 25 watts, 10" speaker, pre out, main in, headphones (or line) out, but no ext. speaker jack. Fairly loud, and sounds good for SS.
Also a good music stand.
I plan on coming to the Friday night gig (depending on childcare), but not until later. I can deliver in Seattle tonight or anytime tomorrow before 5.

Re: Song Fight! Live 2012 Seattle Gear List
Yesterday was a busy day here at Octothorpe Studios - I have not had a chance to run by Sweet Lou's. We will have to take what we have and make it work. As I don't play guitar, I don' have an acoustic. Others please pipe in if you are bringing one.jb wrote:Did the new speakers get installed?

The drums are certainly good enough for me, and way better than what we normally have at Song Fight shows.Spud wrote:Depends on whether these are good enough or not:

Thank you to everyone who brought gear for the shows. I hope I didn't break anything.
Spud, PM me your address so I can send you some guitar straps.
