Annual SongFight Live Baseball Extravanganza!

Post by frankie big face »

Every year, I organize a baseball excursion during SongFight Live. Admittedly, last year's Yankees game was pretty much a snoozefest and I believe it rained on us. But that couldn't possibly happen in Seattle, right?

So, the only possible game to attend is on Sunday afternoon at 1:15PM. It is against the Texas Rangers. I would be happy to purchase a block of tickets and be reimbursed by anyone who is interested in going. I will put a $25 cap on the ticket price (unless you think that's too much--speak up) and I won't go over without PM'ing all the interested parties first.

Who's in (and how many tickets)?

I knew someone was going to give me crap about that. Okay, not every year. Some years I don't attend and other years Jack does it. :)

I only did it once for San Francisco. And I only did it because you always do it. So i guess that year, you can claim "inspired by frankie big face".

Weird, because the last Songfight! live in Seattle also included a Mariners game against...Texas. (I think)

Thought I would bump this to the top to see if there is any more interest. Otherwise, Spud's family and I will have all the Ichi-roll sushi to ourselves!

Yeah, he can't subject—wait a minute!

I think it's probably good if I put a deadline on this so I can start to look at tickets. So let's say anyone who is in let's me know by July 1. That seems easy to remember.

You are confusing me. You have a ticket for the game already or you want to sit with us?

It's now July 2. I will extend the deadline to July 4 and then start looking for a block of seats. Anyone else?

Sorry about the confusion. I meant I had a ticket to fly to Seattle.

I don't have a ticket for the game though and need one of those please.

Tickets purchased! Everyone owes me $20.34. We're sitting in Section 318, Row 25. Nosebleed seats but we'll have a good time. (and be able to see the whole field) Tell Spudnut it's "Kids Cape Day". That's right—she will be getting her very own Mariners Cape!
