Redbubble is pretty great (I use them for all of my non-book comics merch), but yeah they're kind of slow. Nature of the manufacturing-on-demand game. I get the impression that they're based in Europe and actually outsource all their printing to local-ish manufacturers (common in this industry - even Cafepress does that for most of their things), which also adds delays of course.

Well, we'll see how it goes! I just ordered myself a shirt!

We just uploaded one of the "alternate takes" for the poster design to Redbubble, in case anyone is keeping score....

Update -- My friend Andy's shirt shipped the day after he placed the order, so the turnaround might actually be not-too-bad?

Ok, I'm back in Portland! (I was out of town this past weekend.) I strongly advise all of you joining the Portland, OR Dog and Pony Show to send me your gmail addy (you can PM me here) so that I can add you to the Google Hangout. (A hangout is basically a big private chatroom.) It's been a valuable tool for other events, and it's an excellent way to keep in the loop/stay in touch.

EDIT: Evidently the iPhone interface is causing consternation. Apologies, I assumed (ha!) that it would be essentially similar on both platforms.

Here is the rundown on how you can "Chat" in the iPhone ap:

Chat message
Type your message into the textbox, and touch the send icon .

To add photos, videos, your location, or a sticker, touch the icon. The message will send automatically after you add the attachment.

Photo : Send one or more photos from your device.
Camera : Take a photo or a video up to 10 seconds long.
Location : Add your current location or another location on the map.
Sticker : Send an animated sticker to show how you're feeling.

Erin and I aren't planning to rehearse but BSS would like a 30 minute slot on Saturday if possible.

I think glennny is hoping to procure some of the Friday rehearsal time for the Glennny Family Jam set, too.

My band and Niveous' band are the same people and our sets are back to back, so it makes sense for us to get back to back rehearsal times, Friday or Saturday should work unless someone's planning on skipping out...
