Song Fight Presents History

Postby Lunkhead » Wed Oct 14, 2015 2:29 pm

It'd be great to try to compile a list of all the "unofficial" Song Fight! Presents shows that have happened over the years. We haven't had any in a while. Maybe remembering them would inspire us to have some more.

I was just curious about when Ken first got in touch with me and the first time I met a bunch of Song Fight folks. Here are the show details:

I have the posters printed out on my bulletin board here at work.

The poster also lists Feldspar but I'm not sure if he was there.

If we're making a website it's probably worth noting that RS&C is Stueym and Bjam. Also, Raised by Wolves is on the poster, was he there?

It was an amazing show. I got video of a bunch of it that I never got around to transferring to my computer. I wonder if that camera still works...

2 shows come to mind I don't think have been mentioned. Ken hosted a show when he lived above the Greek Theater at UC, in that huge old house. Great party, bands included SOS, Octothorpe (or at least Spud played), brody, KSDBAS, and a few more Bay Area folks from that time.

The other was the show Spud set up in Seattle at the Jewelbox Theater that featured the only live appearance of The Bloody Hams (awesome show!).

I think I have pics from both shows somewhere.
