6/27/08 friday!
So today I accidentally sent an email to the whole team at work from my beesbuzz.biz address. Oops. Oh well. Nothing on my site they didn't already know about (except my nickname, and several of the people here knew that already anyway).

QOTD: My employees do, because they've all come to our shows at one time or another. It comes up from time to time.

Re: 6/27/08 friday!
Drc: We had a half-day at work, and then the company barbeque to kick off our summer holidays. The burgers were actually cooked this time! I'm not as happy about holidays this year, because I'm kind of (well, okay, *really*) broke, so I'm going to have to dredge up some temp work for the next 10 days. I can't afford to sit around in the sun and drink beer this year (sucks)
QotD: Some of my co-workers *are* my extra-curricular pursuits. I kid. Intra-office romances are never a good thing, one party always ends up quitting. But a bunch of us do go drinking once in a while.

Mark, who is the girl in your avatar? If I find out that you've been a girl this whole time, I'm going to be so embarrassed about all those penis pictures I PMd to you.

Re: 6/27/08 friday!
Yes, some of my co-workers know that my husband and I write songs for an internet song competition. Others are very surprised when they find out. A few of them are crazy about our stuff. Mechelle asks me every week if we were able to submit a song, and unfortunately, the answer has been NO more often than not. She's relatively new in our office and was hired around the time of 'Switcheroo', which is her favorite song and nothing else can seem to live up to it.
I've also got a group of co-worker fans who love our 'So Kind Stacy' because it is about one of the supervisors in the office. I don't think that supervisor has every heard it (or maybe she has...), but here whole team has and they LOVE it!! Then there's 'It Belongs To Me' which mentions my old boss Kelly. People at work like that one too!

Yah, they do, as all my oddly scheduled vacation time used to be spent on it. "Why the hell are you taking a week off in April?"

Re: 6/27/08 friday!
I think about 4 of my friends have heard my recent music. Back in the days of my high-pitched rap I made sure everyone heard it, so people still think anything musical I do is a joke. I don't really care to show anyone stuff right now - once I've got something I'm really proud of, maybe I'll show some people.

QotD: Most of my co-workers know about my music. And you better believe I'll advertise the fact I'm releasing my 2nd soundclick CD on the 1st over and over to them until they beat me.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style.

I have no co-workers. My former co-workers were Mad Dog and Stubs. They aided and abetted.

Re: 6/27/08 friday!
QotD: Yes, especially since I have the "Songfight, Brooklyn" flyer hanging in my cubicle and had the "Songfight, Pennsylvania" one there previously.
Recently at a conference, one of my co-workers in the middle of a meeting referred to me as Niveous Devilchild. That was interesting.

Re: 6/27/08 friday!
QotD: yea, but only one ever appreciated anything I've done... the others all like Bon Jovi or something...
on a side note, I've only let a few co-workers who I've been friends with outside of work, who I would think might like it. Even then I don't tell them my band name...
