bought a danelectro chorus pedal, love it. Can turn the chorus down, just use the depth setting, really sounds good thru this old tube amp. creamy

Cool. My chorus pedal is kind of gooey. But when I fiddle with the knobs, I can make it chewy. If I play with it too much, it gets sticky. :P

If you were serious, you would have offered a question of the day. It's a traditional thing. You are breaking tradition.

But still, I love music gear too. I get excited just buying my usual picks, but in a limited time new psychedelic color. :)

Sweet! That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm just not ready to plop down a grand yet. I need to get out of my "buy new" mentality. I'm sick of lugging a half stack around. The other half just sits in my closet.

I got it for ~$850 (taxes and shipping included!) from http://www.hellomusic.com. They sometimes have really nice gear for 20-30% off, including amps, guitars, basses, keyboards, mics, audio interfaces, and more. Unfortunately you have to join to see the deals and they email you every day. If you sign up, just filter their emails to the trash and check the site periodically. ;) Somebody I know got this same deal on this same amp through this site a couple months ago, so I signed up in the hopes they'd have this deal again. Tuesday it came up and I jumped on it, and the amp got delivered Friday. (For various reasons I had to have it delivered to Erin's office then take it home from there Saturday.) It was $800 (20% off Musician's Friend's price), and I had a first time buyer discount of an additional $30, and they only charge a flat shipping rate of $9 per item.

Hey Lunk, that is a great price. I just signed up. You know you can click on setting and turn off the auto emails, right?

But how do you search stuff there. Is it just whatever they have a deal on at the moment? I'd like a deal like you got, but on a twin reverb. I want to see what they offer one at. If I can get TR for $850, I'll chip my CC out of the block of ice in my freezer and buy it.

Yes, they just have special deals that come and go, just whatever you see on their site. Their site is a little annoying in that I haven't yet figured out a good way to see all the current deals other than by clicking around to all the pages.

I'm with you.

Thare is absolutely no reason why "forty" should not be spelt "fourty". It makes far more sense (except that it is one letter longer, but for "forty" to make sense, you should change "four" to "for" which could lead to all sorts of confusion).

And "fifty" should be "fivty".
