"Princes of the Universe". I almost said "Somebody to Love" with a zillion others in close second, until I remembered PotU. There can be only one!

My favorite is "Under Pressure." But this is another question where a lot of really good songs get left behind when I pick one favorite.

(By the way, if you do a "What's your favorite David Bowie song?" day, my answer will be the same.)

My answer is "We Will Rock You/ We Are The Champions". These two linked songs will always be very near and dear to me. Growing up, I was very fortunate that my parents gave me access to the family record collection carte blanche. I grew up with heaping handfuls of Motown, old soul and Spanish records. I knew about bands like the Ohio Players before I had even heard of Elvis or the Beatles.

In the collection, there was one little green 45 that was different from all the others. It was the aforementioned Queen. I don't know how it got there. It wasn't my parents style. It might have been my brothers' but they were off to college by this time and I never asked. This record was so different from anything I had ever heard, especially Brian May's guitar solos. Learning there was music like this out in the world changed everything.

It ranks among the top 5 musical finds that made me the music lover I am today (the other 4 being Cheap Trick, Faith No More, Love & Rockets, and Sunny Day Real Estate).

My favorite is Bohemian Rhapsody, due to the varying music styles found throughout the song, and Freddy Murcury's multitracked vocals. Another One Bites the Dust is close, but Bohemian Rhapsody is cream of the crop!

Bohemian Rhapsody no contest.
I got that on 45 in 1978 and played the Hell out of it. It has not gotten old all these years later. Maybe the best epic song ever!
I do love Under Pressure, but there are dozens of Bowie songs I love more, not many Queen songs. I love the Game album, also over played in my youth to the point that I can't be objective about it. (Like the whole ELO catalog)
LOVE Brian May's tone on everything he ever recorded! Freddie is awesome! The drums were always the weak link for me. (Genesis reject)

We Are the Champions. It's like the song was specifically designed to release adrenaline and make all your blood rush to your head.

HAHAHA! My kids love that one!

My choice is "Somebody to Love". I love songs that have choir-like call and echo.
