Oh damn. This is a tough one! My first ever concert when I was 15 was KISS. My second was Pink Floyd when I was 16. I was at the Animals concert and it was amazing. I still to this day channel David Gilmour. On our last BatP song (deep sub-lizardpeople) someone mentioned the Pixies in the bridge when in reality I was thinking David Gilmour.

I'll have to come back to this one. But off the top of my head is money, dark side of the moon and pigs. Sorry, I can't pick one. Welcome to the machine just popped in. Deal with it, sodomites!

One of my all time favorite bands. I have all the albums and there is not a song of theirs I don't like.

"One of My Turns" is a favorite. I love "Dogs". "Fearless" is a cover we used to do all the time. "The Great Gig in the Sky" with THE vocal solo. "A Saucer Full of Secrets" especially from the Live at Pompeii video.

They're really an album band. They maybe more than any other band suffer when the song is heard out of context of the album.

"Dogs" is my pick. It's all about the 14 minute mark after the guitar solo when it goes into those gorgeous guitar bends.

I would have guessed Caravan Ray would pick "See Emily Play" or "Free Four".

Considering the heavy amount of grand multi-part epic stuff they did, this may seem a bit ridiculous, but my pick is "Wot's... Uh the Deal". It's such a beautiful song.

But I love almost everything they did. My dad used to play their albums a lot when I was little, and so I became a Floyd fan early on. When I was eleven, my favorite song was "If", off the Atom Heart Mother album. Needless to say, the other kids considered me a pussy because of that.

I'm gonna break this up into Syd vs Post Syd... I love Syd Barrett and think he deserves his own day! It's hard even to pick one of his Floyd songs... Probably "The Gnome"... Post Syd... Echoes. The Pompeii version is mind blowing.

As for Syd, I prefer his solo work (although "Piper" is still a great album, of course). My favorite Syd Barrett song is probably "Dark Globe".

Most definitely.

I'm leaning toward "One of These Days", the opening to Meddle which is currently my favorite album, subject to change any day now. "Mother" is a close second at the moment.

Since everyone's on the Animals bandwagon and no one has yet said "Sheep," that one is really tempting. I really like how the guitar lick gets processed until it actually sounds like a bleating sheep.

But no, in the end, my actual favorite Pink Floyd song is the tried-and-true "Wish You Were Here."

This is one of those situations where my choice wins out by a hair. Honorable Mention to "When The Tigers Broke Free", "Wish You Were Here", "High Hopes" and "Keep Talking". (Yes, I like the Division Bell)

My favorite is Shine On You Crazy Diamond.

Wish You Were Here, parts 1-163. The album is the only one I truly like all the way through.

Welcome to the Machine. I should make it the theme song for my house.
