Green Day is another great candidate for the best best-of album. International Superhits! is a fairly perfect retrospective on their whole career pre-American Idiot, clocking in at just over an hour with 20 songs.

I love most of their songs, but "Longview" set the high water mark.

Jesus of Suburbia, not many songs can go 9 minutes and still be good. This song isn't just good, it's epic.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

Back in 1994 I heard Basket Case on the radio and said something like, "Oh wow, I didn't know The Dickies have a new album out. It sounds good; I'm happy they're getting airplay."

So I have a soft spot in my brain for Basket Case. But the only song of theirs that stayed on my playlist almost forever was "Coming Clean".

Oh man, so many good songs, that all sorta sound the same. I'm gonna have to go with Chump for obvious reasons.
