They're touring and coming to the bay area soon, the local alternative is therefore playing the hell out of them. Making my 7 yr old son a newly converted fan. Django (my son) would pick Today as his pick no question.
I also associate "Today" with the 4th of July, we were playing a backyard party across the street from Chaffey College in Cucamunga circa 1993 on July 4th. I remember covering Today as the fireworks started it was pretty fun.

Cherub Rock is amazing, everything off Gish rocks.

my favorite is "Drown"
Phillipso, Older Brothers, Semolina Pilchards, Zipline , Thank Glennny for the Frisbee, The Odoriferous Valley, The Worldly Self Assurance, Berkeley Social Scene, Very Gentle Knives, Daddy Bop Swing Set, GUNS, The Kraken Lives, Cavedwellers

I'm a big Smashing Pumpkins fan, so this is a hard one for me.

Honorable mention to The End is the Beginning is the End, Bodies, That's The Way My Love Is, and Bullet with Butterfly Wings

My favorite is Eye

Oh, god, did I love "Today" and "Disarm" as a teen... haven't indulged in a long time. I'm watching the video for "Disarm" right now. I'm sure I've seen it before, but didn't have cable as a kid, so probably only once or twice. It's pretty lame. Haha. Still dig the song, though.
