Trying to learn how to play a trumpet.

Currently: firing mind-bullets at whoever came up with the challenge

Sweating the little details.

Currently: Puffing out chest in a proud display of writing, recording and mixing a song with more than 8 hours to go before the deadline. Oh, and letting the mix sit for a day so I can go back with fresh ears. Also, realizing that if there is more than an hour or two left before the deadline then the self doubt and second guessing will start to creep in. Which is kind of funny considering the lyric.

Currently: Thinking about much better my song would be if I could get someone else to sing it.

Fuck ya! I listened to a lot of Sebadoh during my 90s lo-fi period, and Tobin Sprout is one of my favorite songwriters ever. I'd be the crazy guy in the back shouting for Cryptic Shapes in between all the songs.
