If you experience problems or aren't seeing changes, I recommend clearing your browser cache. Some stuff is being cached for an extraordinary amount of time, for whatever reason.

The listening party links are up for all this year, and also files should download more quickly.

Can we unpin the older threads?
A forum admin needs to do that. Probably Niveous.

On mobile at least, the round zero entries all showed "null" till scores were posted; there might be a more graceful way to display that.
Saw that. This should be resolved. I've got a bunch of other "in-flight" polishing up I'd like to do at some point.

Maybe we could add a description of the new shadow reinstatement rule

Would be good to add a link to the Nur Ein forum thread
You mean for the whole contest? I should probably have a contest page, huh. Perhaps I'll sneak that in the main page for now.

(maybe also the lyrics thread)?
I was thinking of supporting lyrics directly on the site and in the database. Opinions on that?

I just changed all the old threads from sticky to normal (aka "unpinned them").

Mike, a hack I've done (for which I'm sure there are probably loads of better solutions) that might help is a very lazy solution is to append a request parameter with a random value in the URLs (e.g. "?v=9283749879847") for the static (CSS/JS) files and you can then change the number and folks' browsers will load the files fresh.

I like at least supporting the option for lyrics directly on the site.

Right, anything like that requires better data entry. I was thinking contestants could get a secret individualized link to edit their entry.

Having people embed their lyrics in the id3 tags is probably too much to ask for, sigh.

This too is an interesting concept. Not a huge difference to me. Conceptually I like the idea of data all flowing in one direction, so I can automate the id3 tags completely from the database. And then I can do cool stuff with word clouds from the lyrics.
