I have to reserve a spot, I'm hoping it'll be Thank Glennny For The Frisbee, but I need to confirm with Friz, otherwise Zipline it will be.

Freakin' awesome, I was gonna say to you guys you should enter and then I thought "that'll make it a crapload harder for us!", but you're here anyway! This lineup is badass. I'm so excited, it's like SF world Cup.glennny wrote:I have to reserve a spot, I'm hoping it'll be Thank Glennny For The Frisbee, but I need to confirm with Friz, otherwise Zipline it will be.

Hmmm....maybe you could put the insane trivia questions back in! I kinda still want to do it, but I also don't want to take a spot from someone who won't likely fail. I mean, I can write a song in a day, right? Who will encourage me?! Speak up now!!Niveous wrote:Upon further thought...it would take a herculean effort on your part, FBF.
Best case scenario:
By some strange miracle we start the Nur Ein on Wednesday afternoon (highly unlikely), your trip would fall between the 6th and 7th rounds, giving you 3 days to make a song in each round.
The other timeframes are not so forgiving. For example, an April 27th start would mean that you would have only June 5th to give a song for the 5th round. A May 1st start would mean that you would only have the June 16th to put in a 6th round song.
There are some other time frames to look at but upon this preliminary look, it's a very very tough call.
Just do it, Frankie! Worst case, you sing your song acapella into a phone from Spain

Question for the judges: Do any of you plan to use objective criteria for judging? Or will you just rank-order the songs, the way we did it last year? (Not to imply that one approach is better than the other. I'm just curious.)
