Oh, that's o.k., it's actually quite exciting. I am genuinely uncertain we'll make it, what will happen?!! Tense, I tell you! NUR EIN!

And for this situation you certainly have the most appropriate avatar on Songfight! (my three year old is hypnotized: "When is he gonna stop?" "Never," says I. Her eyes got HUGE!)

Yeah, I'm kind of sweaty about this round.

My song was, for sure, the worst thing I've ever sent in for any reason. I "finished" at 4 minutes under the wire, but, man, another hour nudging shit around would work wonders.

Like, this is the first time I've ever been embarrassed of something I submitted for a fight of any sort.

The time crunch is just too much for me, when you factor in the additional requirements, and shit. SO many other competing projects and sofirth.

SO... I hope I'm in! But I hope I'm out!

Fuckity fuck!

Damn, do I hear that. It's amazing that a few mixing faux pas could take a total rocking tune and fuck it all up. Plus my 5/8 chorus with the 4/4 verse sucked together.

Hey folks,

We are still in the midst of the controversy that I call DREAMYGATE. Basically we are still missing one set of votes. And since this is such a close round, we decided to wait. But it's coming close to 24 hours and we know that we can't wait any longer. If the missing vote doesn't come very soon, we'll go with only 4 votes and announce the winner, the eliminations and the new title. By 2 PM EST, this should all be settled and we should be in the next round.

Thats cool Niv, if in the near future the other results become available, then I'd suggest keeping them to yourself, so as to avoid any controversy, also I was thinking, if you plan to do this again next year then I'd love to be considered for one of the judging positions, sorry to anybody that finds that offensive and pushy, I just thought I'd make the offer!

Good luck to everyone.

It's not pushy to offer, Nigel. I'll keep you in mind for next year's Nur Ein.

I am confused and alarmed by the results.

But there's a Saturday in this round, so i'm also confident and, uh, cocksure.

Whew! That's a relief. We were worried the whole Spanish thing would sink us. Anyway, congrats to Frankie, and the others who get to proceed, and condolences to those eliminated. (I would have given Bryan more credit for at least managing to get something in, but that's just me.) Good luck to everybody in Round Three. Nur Ein!

Hey, I have immunity! :D Thanks to all the judges (except #1--I will not forget this, whomever you are!) and everyone else who liked my little song.

It's a good time for me to have immunity (very busy this week and out of town for the weekend) so I probably won't pull a Puce and enter a song. Unless I can get Björk to do some guest vocals for me.

I am very sad to see Cynthia Size and the Sp00ns go. I personally think your stuff is pretty awesome.

We did give him that much. We enjoyed the fact that he gave in a song. In the end, after repeated listens, it lost its novelty.

But I hope that Bryan Kandel sticks around and becomes a part of the SF Community. He's a talented guy.

I'd just like to say I've enjoyed every moment of this Nur Ein competition, and would like to express my thanks to Niveous for organising the whole shebang and to the judges for what is obviously a thankless task and also to the kind words ('specially FBF) and also the critisism I've received, good luck to the final 15 and remember it'll only get tougher from now on in, so keep raising the bar! :D

Initially I had Bryan around the middle of the pack, because his track cracked me up, but the song did not hold up to repeat listens.

I DO appreciate that Bryan tried to put something out there instead of giving up, and he showed me more personality with his last ditch entry than he did with both of his other entries combined.

ROCK!

I asked about this in a different thread and Niveous said that, due to the folks who were unable to enter this time, only the two lowest ranked people would get eliminated this time, which I believe is Bryan Kandel and Cynthia Size etc. So BLT, if I'm interpreting things correctly, you're still in.
