Comfort

This is really haunting. I’ve listened to this a bunch of times, and really don’t know what to think. Sometimes I really don’t like the vocals, and sometimes I really do. This could use a really funk electronic beat behind it. You kind of freak me out, though.
Thank you for the review.
you mentioned a beat behind it and it just so happens that First Aid Kit remixed this, please check out this mix:

http://osoi.com/s/comfort-firstaidkit-p ... -remix.mp3

the voice was annoying, so now it's lower in volume... more beats...

Much better, I think, although I do still want to hear the vox too. It does work with the beat behind it.

No envelope arrived, so I guess my vote is going to Caravan Ray for giving me that extra bit of Ooomph before I get to work. The transference is wonderful too! The image of my boss wearing a pink skirt and gimp mask just makes my day. Cheers.

With my fancy new Tablet PC I'm going to use speech recognition to enter my reviews. The thing is, speech recognition technology is still really really lousy. I promise you I will not edit anything the computer thinks I said. (But for the sake of clarity, I typed in the band names) Here goes...

a music
First off I don't like files that are much at all. and there's a lot of files can talk and its own. the idea of the Indians is funny enough but I'm not quite sure what you felt a need to do it . I'm using enough blood sugar and instantly forgettable. I also wish there was a more interesting to one in song by that no place.

Andy Balham
This is fairly weak. but at least it has a structure and there's a verse and there's a chorus and there are some attention paid to writing an arrangement, so it's not all bad. you gave it the old college try , but again with the files that ours I can get into it. if you listen to the two by itself without anything else it comprises about two notes and that is a problem.

astrolamb
I'm sure other people have made this connection but this sounds a lot like her lead the file. This is fine as follows, although it feels very thin like it needs some more production. Iolite the vocals. especially the background, although that might be the same guy sitting on a par Iolite do better in the background. I'm not much found this John rare really , but when it's great I can appreciate it. this is a good start but it doesn't feel finished yet.

Bell green
There's something about this on what I really like. what is it? I'm not sure, it's pretty repetitive I think it's a chorus line like. but I have a lot to say about the song really. it kind of comes and goes and I forget about an instantly, a lot like the previous songs in this fight that I have heard so far.

Caravan Ray
you got a thing starts and I've got your shoes? the lyrics of sound as if you make them up using speech recognition software. but I love the percussion. and I'm generally Leslee arrangement. this is not my thing at all, but I can tell it's very good. Iolite the attention to detail, and the variety and the arrangement. because the media so cool, I don't even mind that we're all goals. you're very versatile. your style seems to change from week to week to week . It's kind of work to write just to listen to the percussion track. a definite contender.

Comfort
I'm really into it after the first twenty seconds. it sounds like it's going to be great, I just hope the vocal style [. this sounds like one of the weirder radio headstones. but Israel had were doing this on the focus would be next on the floor. the more I listen, the more it sounds like you're trying to sound like a radio ad. this is pretty close, but I think you need to go farther with them strangeness of it. the vocals are nice and strange but if you take the vocals out the song is fairly normal. and I think that works against this autumn. end I run out of steam with a doctor about two minutes. I want a big deal out of proc bands to come chiming in that this point and I want to rock out. asked around at two minutes I realize that I've had all of the material and going to get, and that's too bad because what you have here is interesting.

Dark liberty
I can tell right away that I'm not going to make it through this whole song. everything sounds as if it was recorded about a quarter inch from the MIC. and I can't understand a word you're saying. engine of singing, and you're not wrapping, you're just talking, and I can't understand. And therefore I don't want to listen to it. and there are the files you get ours again. I'm stopping at after one minute.

Gert
If those are real drums, the recorded extremely well. If their fate drums, and they're very realistic. was already successfully embodies mail angst Dornan of the email they told her to. the way you say that takes care of my I can really relate to. and that's a lot of what rock is all about. cell on that level, the song is perfect. I can practically hear the hormones. >all! I love that you go into six before being that instrumental break. I really liked the song.

Hillbilly
the best way to cure this song is drunk in a hotel room in North Carolina, just as I am now. I really like your sound, and this is one of my newspapers of yours. Indians way to a broadly, but what you have before it ends its top drawer. sense a very unique sound that's not country, and it's not lose, and it's not rocket, it's very unique at least to my years. Iolite I don't like it when she tries to cope. thought I needed and so quickly.

kamakura
If you listen to the intro of this song you can hear a lack of Lausanne highs in the production. it gives the song in sound. am a time of year songwriting as usual. I can hear it doing very well with the big production. am in anyone else ever told you sound like rod Stewart? button is case that's not a bad thing. get together with the experience producer, and you're really going to have something. too much and Madi, and I should know. but OK, let's pretend this is just a demo and I am that experience producer, and I'm deciding whether or not I want to produce this music. entire case I would be getting pretty excited about the song. in fact, after two and a half minutes, it's one me over and it's going into my favorites.

Ross Durand
Iolite the idea for this song, am really like the lion she lives in black and white, and I like having you use that to set up the idea of the whole zone at the end of the first verse. there are two many pros sounding lines in this song, and I was like to suggest you make them a little more artful than they are. right now it's two on the notes. but going back a little bit lyrically you give our vegetation small room to spread. saying, it does, Cora, that's you could use a bigger production . And I really don't like the lion offensive content from naturally it feels very awkward.

Sell crazy
area counties on writing. it makes the one about surround. mean key is too low for you, raising that there are so. Iolite also speeded up a little bit . This kind of song sounds like it should be about two and a half minutes long so perhaps cutting amended offer would be a bad idea. still, this is the most tuneful song I've heard so far in this fight. and to the list goes a long way from a so that scores a lot of points.

Steve Durand
All right! in my opinion, there's not enough permit holders imitations on song five. thank god someone agrees with me. but this sounds two close two Spanish fleet. UK areas, though. the Tijuana brass rocked. contest! Gets my vote.

my favorites are speedier and sell crazy , Korea, elderly , Kurt , caravan ray . My vote goes to Steve.

I think I said, "All right! In my opinion there's not enough Herb Alpert imitations on Song Fight. Thank god someone agrees with me. But this sounds too close to "Spanish Flea". Who cares, though. The Tijuana Brass rocked. Fantastic! Gets my vote.

I think you liked it. Anyway I'm working on that assumption and will deal with those Lausanne highs the next time I'm in Switzerland.
I won't be changing my name to 'Korea', but thanks for the suggestion. :)

priceless. I have no idea what you said about our Gert tune here:
Jim of Seattle wrote:...was already successfully embodies mail angst Dornan of the email they told her to...
...but I don't care because it's more fun not to know. It was Leaf on the drums, yes. Gert's a six pack, six of us Songfighters. Roster and band photo(s) is/are in the lyrics thread.

Leaf, you're a good drummer. In case no one's ever told you that.

After a minute of deciphering I do indeed remember what that sentence was, but since you don't care I'm not telling you.

There's at LEAST 32 people here.

EDIT: Cool. This makes even less sense than a typical leaf post.

I cant' speak for Gert, but I'm willing to bet that Gert is pleased.

and grateful. Merci!!!

How come 'Songfight! legend Gert wins again' if they've only entered once?.. Unless it's some kind of Gertish time travel space continuum thing.

Anyway, congratulations to the Gerts, one and all.

Gert was contemplating this question Kamakura too and thinks that the FM is implying this because of the individual member's track records. Gert is VERY pleased with the results and thanks the SF listening public for their kind votes.
