Paco Del Stinko wrote:Sockpuppet - The lyrics are like polished Mad Dog. Ha! That's awesome. The delivery is a bit of a surprise, is it slowed down? The ending is your "Can't Always Get What You Want" or something. Great tune.
"Polished Mad Dog" is exactly what I was going for (well, polished Octothorpe, although most of our lyrics have been written by Stubs). Basically I was going for an Octothorpey vibe. And that's my voice completely unprocessed! I have a wide range, it's just that most of it sucks for the sound I want normally. :)

(I've actually been practicing an even better delivery for when I do a final recording of this. It's totally going on my next album.)

I second that motion.
Also, I so mean to write a rad Live Free or Die song!

I think that I will hi-jack this quote and apply it towards myself. Thank you!

P-Jane: Jim has mentioned the lakes region thing in past years. I think it's a great idea. If you guys are in touch now, give'im a nudge. And...

*resists the urge to break out into "Sisters are Doing It for Themselves"* ...
Especially since I must point out the huge input from fellow songfighter and superb talent that is Jon from The Howling Monkeys. He graciously recorded, rerecorded, overdubbed and mixed me and played bass and piano for the track, in New York the day after Songfight Live's Sunday session. The song really began to take on new form during that process, and was a very cool glimpse at what my album could sound like, the double debut in occasional progress.

Songfight was so worth the trip to NY and the ongoing adventure :D
Thanks, everyone, for all your ridiculous support.
