holy crap. That was already a decade ago. Wow.

A lot of good songs in that. Some of my faves include "For The Time Being" by Abominominous, "Exclamation Point" by Starfinger, "Onomatopoeia" by TMK, "No Relation" by Pumpkin Buzzard... a lot of songs that I still listen to.

I am so glad I automated the generation of the "X years ago" stuff, using the Jukebox. ;)

Heh. Gotta speak up on this one. I was one of a few who did all eleven songs. KA missed one or two, WreckdoM did a bunch. I listen to the Abomb songs, as an album, periodically. Some classics in there. Mine...not so much, but there are some moments of mine I think are decent. Long time ago, man.
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

Yeah what was with this exactly? There were so many fighters that you had 11 titles for the week? Or was there more time for this one?

For a period there were multiple fights at a time, usually 2-3. At least part of the motivation was to try to lower the total number of songs per fight. There had been a period before with what some considered lots of large fights. Spud and JB would have to weigh in on exactly how/why this particulate set of titles came out the way they did. Also I don't know what the story is behind when the decision was made to flip back to one fight at a time.

We had a spate of lots of entries, and people were bitching about having to listen to 30 entries in a fight. So we split it up into multiple fights of different flavors for a while. And at this point we decided to be obnoxious about it because song fight.

This particular set of titles is an acrostic, if you hadn't noticed.

No I didn't notice the acrostic: fail! (But what's the 'B' for: bitch fight? I gather the 'E' is ye olde poetic licence) ... "because songfight" = best excuse everrr.
I both love and am sad that that was the week with 'Onomatopoeia'

"Blank Stare" is for the space between "SONG" and "FIGHT".

Wow, I have a lot of songs related to this one too.
- covered Onomatopoeia by Paco
- came in second in For the Time Being
- covered Paco's For the Time Being
- did Exclamation Point live with Starfinger in Atlanta

Until this moment I didn't realize the two Paco covers were from the same week!
