Well I’m really struggling with this
I’ve got something about “long story short - the little fella threw the ring into a volcano and the elves all buggered off home” or a tale of woe about lost friends which ends “long story short - everyone you love will leave you”
And neither of those make me want to write any more

Go with the third option, which is stealing your child’s idea. It’s a good one.

Thanks! Yeah I went ahead and sent mine in...I ran out of ideas on things to change/improve so I figured do it while it's still on my mind! Also I decided to get out my banjo for this one :p

Mah huzzzbnd also sent his in for the first time in ...8?... years. He refused to show me his lyrics until he was done.

The kids are playing cricket in the sun and I recorded vocal takes.
I’m in.
I wrote this one on the ukelele but in deference to @ Æpplês&vØdkã, I played keys on my laptop instead. I’ve also tried to make sure it’s mixed a little nicer than Pocket Full Of Bones, because lots of people told me that I had that one too loud.
Hopefully this is easier on everyone’s ears

Aww, you didn't HAVE to avoid the uke just for me. Plenty of people enjoy them! I'm just...not particularly one of them. I dug your song last week, excited to see what you came up with!
