Start the Shower Scene Over, I Don't Like Eggplant Prefight

Post by Spud »

This is the prefight thread for Start Over, I Don't Like Eggplant, and Shower Scene. I will change the title after I have changed the other thread. Oh wait, I just did that. Never mind.

Ha, I Don't Like Eggplant. Good title.

edit: I really do like eggplant though.

edit again: I want to do a song about the game Kid Icarus for said title but I probably won't.

Oh oh oh. Shower Scene reminds me of Felix Da Housecat/Miss Kittin's fabulous Silver Screen / Shower Scene from 2002. That is such a great song, true electroclash genius. If anyone can top that, they're a better musician than me. (that's not neccessarily that much of a challenge of course).

Hmmmm, eggplant?

The title "I don't like eggplant" has a rather Weird-Al-Yankovicesque flavor to it. I wonder, if Weird Al himself entered a song in a Song Fight, would it be allowed?

I can almost hear it sung to ZZ Top's old song "Come to Papa."

His "Albuquerque" off the "Running with Scissors" ALbum comes close, with its refrain of "I... Hate... Sauerkraut!" heh
"Urban cartoon music." -- Paco Del Stinko

I don't know but I think I might be in for I Don't Like Eggplant for the possibility of creating a song for JB's children's compilation CD. Be fun to do...... and I have to say I really am not a fan of eggplant.

Sort of... "Songs written before the title was announced are not eligible for competition." In this case, the melody would be already written but the lyrics would be fresh.

It would probably be allowed until somebody sends a cease-n-desist. See Urine Luck's "Dog Without Warning".

The titles for the last month or so havnt been apealing to me, which is odd because people keep saying how awesome they are. Start Over is alright, I predict one or more "nerdcore" groups will do something video game related for it. I might enter it. Shower Scene does scream out for another song about masturbation but I'm starting to get sick of writing songs about that.

EDIT: While I am indeed sick of singing about masturbating I should clear up that I am in no way sick of masturbating itself. I just felt I had to clear that up.

Crap. I'm working on one for Start Over and I like stiff competition.

Judging from her profile, I think it's reasonable to assume they opted to get stoned instead.
