Um... I got a little carried away with this one. If eight minute songs in odd time signatures with no vocals for the first two minutes and long-ass guitar solos are your thing, you'll probably enjoy this one. Lyric is suitably miserable, more so than my emo-type stuff of last year's Nur Ein.
Also, I incorporated the 1-4-5 challenge into the rhythm rather than the chord progression of my song (pay attention to which beats are accented;) there is a 1-4-5-1 progression in the first half of the middle instrumental though (Dorian mode, Dm-G-Am-Dm.)

Huh, I turn 47 next month. I guess that means I should do a song. Plus, it's FAWM.

47 was a great year. I won Nur Ein when I was 47. Went to SF live in DC. The peak misery preceded it. 47 was my rebirth year.

Ok I did not do a song when I turned 47. Oh well. Maybe the next fight?

On the day I turned 47 I got called up on my day off to attend a crisis Board meeting to discuss our COVID-19 response plan and frankly everything's been a madding blur since then.
