Ever have a chorus pop into your head as soon as you read a title? I love it when that happens!

Also some songs that were not exactly great but make good fodder for sequelling... It's an interesting challenge for sure.

The only songs I know from that era of songfight are the KOMPRESSOR ones. Which I'm not sure I could do justice with making sequels of. But I can totally work some titles into my lyrics and what I've got so far SOUNDS very 2001 in the worst way possible so I may half follow the optional challenge.

As much as I’d love to try to sequel a RxW or 15-16 Puzzle number, I think I’m writing a sequel to my first ever fight.

Kindly Swears is incubating the egg of a sonofsupercar Look Good In Black sequel.
Do we submit as yourbandname_tftlt.mp3 or something more specific to the alternative fight?
Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by "something more specific to the alternative fight". What alternative fight? There is just one fight, "Tricked For The Last Time", so, you'd submit with a file named "yourbandname_tftlt.mp3". The optional challenge isn't for a different fight, it's just a modifier on this fight. Or am I misunderstanding even more than I think I am?

Just wanted to make sure it didn’t need to say yourbandname_tftlt/2003soslgib.mp3 or the like. Wanted to know if it required something to make it obvious that the song title was the alternative to the fight title. I’ve never submitted in the optional challenge before.
Thanks for the reply. 🎸🥊

Will see if I can continue my streak - I'm headed out of town with no access to my gear... so I might be forced to do something completely different :)

Well Brown Word is in. Didn’t opt for optional challenge and didn’t have a lot of time to do alternate takes or much in the way of mixing. But I did it!

I know this is not how it works but... it is not going to happen for me this week.

In other news, I have recording sessions with two separate bands, Thursday and Saturday, with tunes I wrote included in both of those sessions. Rehearsal last night with my third band, including more tunes I wrote, for a gig next week. Super busy, so I thought I'd brag on that so you didn't think I was slacking off. ha. sorry.

rock on!!

And in. I feel like this wrote itself. Also, I found my old Casio SA-1 in my parents house, fixed it, stole it and it makes a brief appearance. Yay!

I was aiming for 2001-2003 rock radio sounding stuff but wound up in late 90s nu metal. Trying to hype myself up for doing the vocals haha.
