I'm done and in for 'Shaving in the Dark'. I was going for Nick Cave but it's ended up as well, this thing. I like it though.

I'm out. 3 in the morning with 2/3rds of a song. Gotta sleep. I'll link to my finished 'Moonshine' mp3 sometime next week. Skite. Can't wait to hear everyone's songs, though.

Well even if your vote ends up finding a new home - thanks for the comment!

I'm in the Moon Shine fight with a Pop song about a Werewolf. This should be interesting.

Hey - no fair discouraging my potential voters - I only usually get one or two per fight!!!

To answer hoblit's question - I have had, but I would never do so again voluntarily. Yech.

Hey, I'm not trying to discourage your potential voters. I liked your song a lot, so it deserves votes

And I tried moonshine once. It was in a plastic jug. I was expecting a lot worse, but for all I know it wasn't really 'shine. For all I knew, it was some sort of cleaning solution in a plastic jug...after all, I was pretty gonzo by that point in the evening.

wooooo!!!!!

The real moonshine fight . . .

Diffrerent rules next time: you must drink a bunch of moonshine and write and record your song while severely intoxicated. As soon as you can clearly picture a chord progression or ennunciate your lyrics properly, you must drink more. And no fair using anything but moonshine either - it's the combination of drunkenness and sickliness that we need here.

In addition, you must record the song with an actual jug band (one-string banjo, upright bass and moonshine jug).

Optional challenge: the topic of the song should be how good your sister looked at the town social

I'm at work so I can't click the link, but can I take this to mean that you have ALREADY written a song about how hot your sister is?

Bit last minute, but I'm in. Shaving in the dark. I had two hours left before the deadline, and I wanted to get something in, so just did one verse and chorus and ad libbed away. Give me the next set of titles.
so . . . when was the last time you backed up?

hahaha. I'll have to listen to that song later, Hoblit. It scares me that something like that exists, but I guess that gives you the upper hand with the optional challenge

Okay...put the new songs up! I'm ready to get listenin'!
