True. Though if I were to mention purple haze in a song, it would most likely be thought that I am referencing Jimi Hendrix and not the Cure.

Oh hi. About a billion years ago I showed up here, wrote one song that some people said nice things about, and then never managed to post here again. Something reminded me of it today, and I thought I would stop back and mention that about half a billion years ago, my band Tin Cat recorded a version of the song for our first album. This forum won't let me post a link ("too spamy for a new user"), but it's out there. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration, Song Fight!
