I have already written a song! Yay! This one just wrote itself basically. I've also done a simple G&G treatment but maybe I'll produce it fully.

Hey everyone, havn't been here in a while and i miss it.

It's funny though, i already have a song called Calm Down from about a year ago. I think i will modify it and sing about drugs.

Maybe it's just me, but using old material seems not in the spirit of site.

as long as he's switching it up a bit and adding lots of drug references, I think that'll be fine. I mean, if in the future "drink till she's cute," or "Ryan Hertlein (is gay)," comes up as song fight titles, I'm certainly just going to "re-master" the songs I already have written and recorded with said title. Sounds like you guys are just jealous because dj drunkie had the insight to write the song before he had too. probably because of the drugs..... telling him to.

SongFight FAQ to the rescue:
How do I enter?

1. Write a song based on the title of your choice. Songs written before the title was announced are not eligible for competition.

You can totally enter old songs, unless you admit to what you are doing on this messageboard.

Or if you go back in time and do it before the FAQ existed, although if that were possible I'd much rather go back and do some of the fights that I wrote songs for but never finished.

I wasn't planning on writing one for this, but it just kind of wrote itself. I might record it today.

Well mine isn't lo-fi spoken-word nerdcore so it's pretty unlikely.

mine sucks, i have a noise issue in my recording setup and it makes the final mix sound like shit, with off key vocals and the whole shebang.

So, uh, find where the noise is coming from, eliminiate it, and rerecord it until you get the vocals right? You have another week.

OK, well since i seem to be stepping on toes by saying I'll use my song already written, I'll write another one. although i guess there is no real way of knowing if the song i am writing is the actual one i wrote before. you guys are just gonna have to trust me on this one. either way, the song is going to suck really bad.
