In my own bitter experience, trying to second-guess the least popular titles is a waste of time. Maybe foreign Language titles or titles that don't neccessarily make sense at the literal level (Blueberry Hassle &c) reduce the numbers, but I wouldn't rely on it ...

Yeah, and besides - a larger fight doesn't mean a better fight.

Also, Starfinger has already hinted his intentions into the fight you speak of, which means, well, you know.

I wrote lyrics for "We Are All Famous." PM me if you wish to use them. You can cut them up, change them, add verses, take out verses, or just not use them.

Heuristics Inc., after a long hiatus, will be in "We Are All Famous." The song's almost ready now. Yeah, I've been not fighting since November.

Used to know a chap named Dmitri, who went by Meach, as a pretty obvious shortenification. Of course, that's not the correct way to shortenificate Dmitri, but maybe he was from Moscow, Idaho. Also if I can shake this head cold soonly, which looks distinctly possible, and if I can motivate myself to get up and do things, which is a big if, I may find myself with a Failure and Regret. And if I fail, I suppose I'll just regret it.

ok, for sure Hip Cola is submitting a Failure and will likely Regret it. {snickers himself off to grab another beer}

k, that was lame. A BIG shout out to Tonetripper for laying a really solid low end foundation on this track for me. Beats the PANTS off my crappy synth bass line fo sho.

I must apologize up front for the sap-fest it turned into, new Dad and everything, couldn't help myself. Brought little Mackenzie down to hear it and she promptly fell asleep... hope that's a good sign... ;)

See ya'll in the ring. All 4 or 5 of ya...

Word.

i'm in "naked on the meach". i have no idea what the expression means, nor does it have any (meaning) in particular within the context of my tune. don't read anything too deep lyrically.

Yep, sad news.

I am done and submitted for 'We are all Famous' with a good little lyric written by Gazelles (who unless I am wrong, used to be known as The Human Cello). The music is by me. I was going for the Flaming Lips, it came out somewhere else which I am really pleased with. I hope you all enjoy it...

My condolences too PJ. Death is a miserable affair. Hopefully your music will help you get through it.

On a lighter note: I'm withdrawing from 'Naked on the Meach' as naked men and mountain bikes didn't stir the muse.
I'm off to record a 'Hollywood Fantasy' instead.

Balham's Hollywood Fantasy is in. It's not purely an exercise in alienating the transatlantic crowd by getting as many British references in as possible

I finally got my band together for a fight. So now you don't have to suffer through my late-night fever-dreams. You can hear the desparate folkish stylings of The Red Balloon doing the desparate folk-sounding "Failure and Regret."

Luke

Aha! I looked at your info on the left there and thought, "hey, somebody else from Rochester!" Aha! Not "else".

PJ: sorry to hear about your uncle.

I've been trying to spread the Songfight love to my friends, especially the ones with recording capabilities, but it hasn't been catching on.

Well...it's almost 7:00 pm and I haven't donwe a thing for this week's fight yet...still debating if I even got anything in me to give... shame, cause there are some great titles this week, but my days and nights were booked solid.

Now Failure and regret looks tempting, only cause it suits the situation!!
