As Ujn mentioned, Cock will be in. Fans of synthesizers from the 80s will recognize our friends the Roland Juno 60, Super JX, and the Korg Poly 800. :)

Alright, the last of the tracks for my song is received. Slotting it in and mixing will be a trivial matter, so I can confidently say I'm in now.

But what name to submit as...?

I am not in. I've found that it's hard to get motivation to do much of anything when you have allergies and take meds that knock your ass out. :P
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

In, but bracing myself for lots of not-teh-love. It's a country-ish song mostly in 10/4, with US-centric lyrics (about the health care debate), written from a perspective I don't particularly agree with ("this is gonna be another nightmare... more bureaucracy where we need less... "). And the lead guitar is pretty much the same riff over and over again. And, y'know, the drum machine (with drum fills in weird places a couple times due to pretty much doing a drum part in 4/4 with mid-measure chord changes now and then).

Nonetheless, for a song in a somewhat odd meter, I was pretty pleased with how not-clumsy it came out. And I did resist the temptation to pan the drums hard to one side and the bass hard to the other side or to do anything else intentionally annoying...

Well, hopefully Wages will get the GU song turned in and it will be more popular...

We are IN by the way! Lyrics to be posted soon. BTW, the lyrics went threw many revisions in an effort to make a more cohesive collection of thoughts. This puppy is really nothing like the demo posted over in the collab thread (lyrically or musically). As usually, KA did a great job with the music. I have my doubts about my vocals.
