Re: Who do we sound like? (prefight)
I've been working off and on on mine for awhile... quite a bit of work on it last night, still more to do today. My last few entries have been thrown together in a few hours so this one will be, for better or worse, quite a bit more produced / multi layered. Get weird !

with participation in the Berkeley Social Scene this week, and a glennny entry submitted, I updated my spreadsheet.
this is my 200th submission!
mind you I'm counting Nur Ein entries too.
I have about 5 totally solo entries out of the 200, you might say i prefer collaboration.

Re: Who do we sound like? (prefight)
I managed to record an entry in 1 day. Neat.
My aim for this fight is to:
a) Win
b) Make people forget about the sample I used throughout the song by the time it finishes
c) Review Verge of Tears
d) Review We Sound...
Now I'm gonna go poop

ha...right
so, as the producer for Schizophonics, I don't have a lot of room in my brain. things tend to malfunction when too much is introduced.
when i found Song Fight I could read, but my memory decided to take that day off.
i told the other guys about it. they were down. they asked what this week's title was and my faulty memory gave them You Sound Just Like Me.
needless to say, i received a pretty vigorous slap to the face when we gathered around my laptop to submit only to discover the actual title.
anyway, its still a pretty dope track.
looking forward to hearing the rest of the submissions.

Re: Who do we sound like? (prefight)
I would think that the end result of your mistaken title will probably tie in to the actual title just fine. You, me, we, them, us....it'll work.
Oh, and welcome to song fight. Please don't rap.
...just a request, not a rule.

Re: Who do we sound like? (prefight)
You might be right. I give everything a fair shake. I'm not much into rap, but I've been diggin' Die Antwoord of late. But that might be because they're so weird.
