I haven't written a note. Heading to the beach with a hangover, my voice is shot from playing with a band last night (L'ooccitane sounds great btw) no ideas in my head at all for the next tune....should this be under excuses? Ha!!!!

I'm doing something I've never done before... on the other hand, I know some people say there's nothing new under the sun, and I really doubt that, but maybe they were talking about my song for this fight.

I've put a lot of time/effort into this one (as with the last one) hopefully it comes to something as I'm still struggling to get down the final vocal takes! harsh light of tomorrow is coming soon...

Looking forward to the submissions; we elected to go with the ol' standard - too many guitar tracks, emo vocals with too much reverb, and an overwhelming amount of instrumentation, handclaps and tambourines. Enjoy!

12:30am EST and I'm in!! Something alittle different from the usually Burnzi stuff. Most of the heavy lifting was last night, most of today was all the little crap. Looking forward to everybody's submission.

Ever read a book where you're like, hey, this is going pretty well? And then you're looking at how much of the book is left and you're like, wow, I don't know if the author is going to to pull this off. And then the ending is just a total cop out that makes you wish you never read the book? That'll me be this fight.

I was all set on doing, like, an HEAVY EPIC* DOOM track this week. I got like two minutes in and then, wow, a week went by. So I wrapped it up quick and rather halfassedly. More halfassedly than ususal, anyway. And you get the shortest doom track ever.

*Christ I wish people would stop using that word, myself included. Somewhere about 18 months ago that word was tarnished beyond redemption.

Done and done. I really thought lyrics were going to prevent me from finishing yet another songfight song this time, but I managed to shit some out and finish my first song in over 3 years.
