I ended up just editing the terrible recording of my terrible performance at Song Fight Live, instead of rerecording it with how it sounded in my head. Because I am lazy and my song is stupid.

This is a good strategy. I didn't edit mine at all, so there's a minute of tipsy bantering at the beginning.

Also, I really have to thank everyone who sang along - especially whomever started it. It seemed like the choruses were getting longer as the song went on.

I had to re-record mine. Shame - because the live recording was pretty good quality. But there were just far too many bits where I had to pause on stage as I tried to read the hastily scrawled lyrics through beer-fogged eyeballs.

So now I have entered a hastily recorded facsimile with a second half-arsed guitar and backing vocals thrown in

I edited mine. The part where I screwed up going into the first chorus four times was actually not a joke, it was just me screwing it up because I'd just made up the song a few hours earlier. Derp! So I hastily spliced that out. If only I could have also autotuned my vocals...

The way you said "Wait a second" with the exact same inflection four times in a row made me wonder if maybe you were doing it on purpose. I guess that settles that.

Good show SF'ers. I haven't watched them all. But that was the SFL to set the bar to. Good quality vid and the sound was pretty damn good too. Could be better......but.... not too shabby.
