Drumming is the thing that always gets the last look in for me, I am tempted but not sure I could do it justice.

I'm the same way... but on the other hand... if drums is "all you're responsible for", then perhaps it's a good time to practice or pay more attention to it?

Well, you have convinced me. Although the sign up form doesn't seem to work, looks like this ship may have sailed.

Yeah, I left the form active, but with the current title deadline only a few days away, I don't think it makes sense to put everyone together this late in the game. I'll for sure make you all a group for the next one.

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. I'm actually relieved because I think I would have been hard pressed to put something together.

I just wanted to say I'm having a lot of fun with this, and the songs I'm collaborating on are sounding great. Thank you Ken for having this idea and setting this up!

My experience has only been positive as well. I put Sam and myself in two groups to complete the 4th group. Both the groups I'm in have been very collaborative, with everyone fluidly working together to get the song done.

I'm happy to keep this going. It makes the most sense to me to just clear out the form and let people sign up again if they want to do it again. I'll keep the folks who signed up too late to make a group, and hopefully they are still available for the next one.

It was a really good idea and has been fun! I wouldn't jump straight into another one but would certainly be interested in having another go soon.

Exactly. Maybe a once a month or once quarter thing would be good. Once a quarter - 4 times a year superband battle?

Though of course when I say super band - I don’t mean to be elitist. This is also a great way to get new chums involved.

You may want to touch base with them, if they're the same folks that I think you're talking about (mo/Evermind/roymond) they already sent in a song.

I've decided to close the instant band sign ups for a while. It seems like this may only be fun once a month or so, kind of like the real thing.

Yeah, this seems like a great thing that would be easy to burn out on. Let’s keep it going but in moderation. :)
