I'm not new to rapping, but I'm new to the style that they call Nerdcore.
I didn't realise they had a word for it.
My style has been on the verge of it for years now.
So, maybe it's time I drop any excess fears down.
Rapping since '87, they call me the Def Author.
Well, that's what I call myself anyway, I figure why bother?
If people had their way, they'd probably call me "Wacka Cracka"
Wait... that would be a pretty good name for a nerdy rapper!
But, nevertheless I digress, and I used that word correct
'Cause I looked it up in the dictionary just to double check.
I'm just trying to get a little respect, see?
I'll know that it's bad when the nerds won't even accept me.
Then I'll have to form my own social group
at the sub-nerd level for the poorly astute.
I meant no disrespect, damn, don't take it to heart!
I'm exactly like a nerd, only I'm not smart.
I'm not gonna fit in, I guess I should've known.
Save the dunce cap, I already brought my own.
Nerdcore's the nation, for now I'm just a foreigner
so, I'm gonna take this chair right here and go sit in the corner.
