As noted in the pre-fight thread, my take on "Need Stilts" took on a decidedly religious theme... but, hey, it's not like that's against the rules or anything...

Sure makes "charcoal" look shallow by comparison!

So let me tell you what I need: A bed on the carpet, a window in the sun, a blanket (torn and shredded) and a nap, that might be fun. A tray full of crackers, a box full of dirt, a basket full of string and a nap wouldn't hurt. A staircase I can visit, a mountain I can climb, a closet I can hide in and a nap might kill some time. A packet full of papers, a bag full of plastic balls, a pocket full of lint and four stilts so I can see through the hole in the door.

Chop, scramble, repeat.

Since the age of one my mama stitched up a square, with a needle and thread, taking excellent care, she made my whole life up, through a bunch of vignettes, but there was one point that she always did stress-- "your friends and family, they make up the squares, but boy.... you are the quilt... they need stilts to look at your level—look at you eye to eye—fuck attraction, their smiles are just some lucies in the sky without passion, sit down for a flash so you can spell out your mind."
