My lifestyle Of Leisure

You gotta pay your taxes
As we blame it on the rich
They won't pay their fare share
We blame them for inflation
I guess that life's a bitch
You gotta pay your union dues
To help support the fight
No, we don't need an audit
Don't dare call it kickbacks
They're just payments in the night
You've gotta keep me in a lifestyle of leisure
You've gotta keep me in a lifestyle of luxury
You voted me in office so I could be a leader
The other guy's an asshole so you know that I'm a keeper
You voted me in power
I go to work every day
But I don't do a damn thing
But make fiery speeches
And collect my pay
You've gotta keep me in a lifestyle of leisure
You've gotta keep me in a lifestyle of luxury
You voted me in office so I could be a leader
The other guy's an asshole so you know that I'm a keeper
You voted me in office, there's no job that could be sweeter
If you think you're getting fucked just be thankful it's not deeper

My Lifestyle Of Leisure - Paco del Stinko
My friend Pauly D once told me
Relaxin' all day can make a man pretty tired*
But what it means to be free, casually
Is much more likely to leave one inspired
Down by the sea or up in the tree
I never wallow in the muck and the mire
Oh no, not me
I am a fortunate creature
To be blessed with my lifestyle of leisure
I've got the time to reason and rhyme
Take it easy all philosophical
It ain't no crime to read every line
And see the future in the crystal ball
Up at noon
With a mellow tune
I'll eventually get around to the point
With a cereal spoon
Hey girls and fellas it's all swell as
Your favorite crooner singing a ballad
Don't be jealous it's all easy lettuce
And maybe later I'll make you a salad
* Quoted from a song lyric my friend Pauly D wrote about himself a long time ago.

My Lifestyle of Leisure
Lichen Throat vs. Chumpy
Mamma wrote a book that said women were equal,
But she died when I was born.
Daddy wrote about justice and wrote a sequel,
And he took three years to mourn.
He taught me to read and taught me to think
But I hated his new wife.
I loved all the words, the paper and ink,
And I’d never have a common life.
I’m going to live in leisure,
And write my books all day.
I’m going to marry a poet,
To his first wife’s dismay.
Some of my friends proposed a contest,
But none of them came through.
I wrote about a man who created a monster,
And people still confuse the two.
My husband drowned in a stormy sea,
And they burned him on a pyre.
They lauded him and forgot about me
When the flames died in the fire.
I can’t just live in leisure;
I have to write all day.
I’ve got a son to care for,
And I’ve got bills to pay.
In the next two decades, I wrote six books;
My words earned my own way.
But even so, I was overlooked
From then until today.
So pick up a copy of Valperga,
Or read through Lodore.
They think of me only as Percy’s wife,
But I did so much more.
I’m going to live in leisure,
And write my books all day.
There’s more to me than Frankenstein;
I had so much to say.

My Lifestyle of Leisure - WreckdoM
My life of leisure
In the lap of luxury
Diamonds and furs
Caress my body
Indulge in splendor
At the fanciest of feasts
Couches of pleasure
And all the finest of treats
People say I don't work
But what they don't know is
I'm working my jelly daily
My life - my life - my life of leisure
My life - my life - my life of leisure
My life of leisure
In the lap of luxury
I sleep when I want
Recline in the sun
I shit in a box
When the day is done
I shit in a box
I shit in a box
That somebody else cleans
My life of leisure
In the lap of luxury
Diamonds and furs
Caress my body
Indulge in splendor
At the fanciest of feasts
Couches of pleasure
And all the finest of treats
People say I don't work
But what they don't know is
