Alcyoneus - Hiding in the Lynx
Trying to drown yourself in overpriced imported drinks
Cry if you want to, but we both know
They never see, they never see

They're always saying - we're not so bright
From their point of view we're dim as flickering candlelight
Trying so hard but they're looking at
Wrong frequencies, wrong frequencies

Those supernovas fade into oblivion
Why is there a black hole where your heart should be?
So pay your tab and I'll drive you home
Or take a cab if you want to be alone

Alcyoneus - those drama queens
They're all suffering from mental instability
What do they matter?
We're radio galaxies, galaxies

Cuz we're radio active baby, radio galaxies [x3]

Radio Galaxies - Paco del Stinko

I'm sending out a signal on my radio
A million watts original the only way to go
I'm reaching out to you hoping you might hear
Ruling out the truth that it could take 100 light years

I radio galaxies - With a message of love

I know you're out there somewhere terrribly far away
Cold vacuum with no air I long to see your face
Pick up signal antenna maybe use your mind
Return the message to sender 'cos it's you I gotta find

I radio galaxies - With a message of love
It would be a travesty - If there's nothing above

An endless black void distant stars fill my eyes
I'll broadcast my message until I run out of time

How long have I transmitted I must be insane
The jury's out and I'm acquitted got a signal to my brain

I radio galaxies - With a message of love
It would be a travesty - If there's nothing above
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

Radio Galaxies
The Mellfire Trifecta

Drop kicks, dirty tricks, hard knocks
Blood runs through sons, never stops
Cracks show, fears grow, lost peace
Trees felled, tongues held, no release
Calm your demons, nurse your wounds
Admit what hovers right above you
Brace your nerves, drop the pretense
Maybe life just doesn’t love you

Radio galaxies, limitless space
Joyful memories, moments of grace
Heavenly bodies, the warmth of the sun
What’s still pure, the power of one

Hold fast, move through, less fight
Be sore, feel more, seek the light
Soft voice, more choice, kind eyes
Be fair, don’t stare, bluer skies
Cruel assumptions now ring hollow
They won’t get you past tomorrow
Faith divine, its power surges
Quell the churning, own your urges

Cast your gaze toward the mountains
Past the endless smokestacks, the rotting core
The city’s fried, smells like lost hopes and dreams
Put your faith in something more

Radio galaxies, limitless space
Joyful memories, moments of grace
Heavenly bodies, the warmth of the sun
What’s still pure, the power of one

There’s a party in the galaxy
There’s a party in the galaxy
All the stars are in the galaxy
At the party in the galaxy
The stars all form a galaxy
At the party in the galaxy
Stars like you and stars like me
Should party in the galaxy

Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio galaxies
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio galaxies

There’s no more parties in LA
There’s no more parties in Bombay
No more parties in Manhattan, Melbourne, Minsk or Mandalay
And I just wanna go and party
I got on my party face
But there's no parties on the planet
So I'll party up in space

Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio galaxies
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio galaxies
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio galaxies
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio
Dance to the radio galaxies

Dance to the radio
There’s a party in the galaxy
Dance to the radio
There’s a party in the galaxy
Dance to the radio
There’s a party in the galaxy
Dance to the radio galaxies

Radio Galaxies - The Late Heavy Bombardment

The universe is infinite in size
And infinite in possibility
And so it stands to reason
There must be other life

But it’s just as far away
And alone
As you and I

And so we radio galaxies
Sending signals that will never arrive in our lives
We radio galaxies
Part of a mission of wishing that we could survive our event horizon

For hope beyond
We radio galaxies

RADIO GALAXIES

I’ve been considering a tinfoil hat
Whenever I go to the laundromat
I’ve been hearing voices from the Coke machine
Can someone tell me what it means?

I started hearing them a while ago
I tried to drown them with the radio
And that’s the way I heard the news from space
Transmissions from an alien race

Picking up signals from the radio galaxies
Detecting patterns in the waves
I feel that something in the signal needs deciphering
But I don’t know what it’s saying

I’ve been tuning into them for quite a while
I’ve seen their faces in the shortwave dials
I can hear their voices in the Coke machine
can someone tell me what it means?

Picking up signals from the radio galaxies
Detecting patterns in the waves
I feel that something in the signal needs deciphering
But I don’t know what it’s saying

Picking up signals from the radio galaxies
But I don’t know what they’re saying

Radio Galaxies - WreckdoM

I was in the right place at the right time
Radio galaxies and I'm feeling my fillings
Picking up the pulse of the cosmos
Open up my brains and see where the antenna goes

They built a machine and dialed it in
Amplified the sky - turn it up to 11
Radio galaxies
I'm bleeding from my ears

There's a transmission from space
Vibrating in my bones right now
I'm fittin' to dance!
Oh it's a sound far beyond the human ear
But it shakes the leg oh yes

They built a machine and dialed it in
Amplified the sky - turn it up to 11
Radio galaxies
The roar of infinity

Radio galaxies screaming through the eons
A symphony of dying stars
Reverberating in the white noise on the AM dial
I turned on my car stereo and
Louie, Louie, we gotta go
And I went, "What are the odds?
What are the odds?
What is the hope against hope I'd be here at all?
In the abundance of galaxies
I'd be here now?"

Radio Galaxies by Hanky Code

I got hit by some gamma rays
some gamma radiation
some microwaves
a tricky innovation
In brighter days
I’d pick up your station
on Radio Galaxies

I blocked out the UV rays
the particle waves
the infrared
and transitional phase
Just yesterday
heard you play on the airwaves
on Radio Galaxies

I got your communique
by radio relay
the radio waves
amplified and replayed
on crazy days
distracted and waylaid
by Radio Galaxies

I got hit by some gamma rays
some gamma radiation
some microwaves
a tricky innovation
In brighter days
I’d pick up your station
on Radio Galaxies

Dirge - Radio Galaxy

I'll see you on the way out
No need to scream and shout
I've done all that I need to do
The rest is left up to you

It's only hard if you make it
This is your chance don't waste it
No more can you count on me
I'm in a radio galaxy

Radio galaxy
Is where I wanna be
You'll never hear from me

You’re on a different wavelength
That’s why you can’t read my mind
Oh-oh
You’re looking for the wrong thing
But shift your gears and maybe you will find me
Oh-oh

Camouflaged by the night
I run along the river
Turn momentum into flight

There’s so much that can’t be known
Until you shift onto a different plane
Jets and beams will grow
Reaching out into the depths of space
Tune in to the shine
It hits you hard it hits you low
I’m a different galaxy
When you see me on the radio
Oh-a-oh

You hunt for meaning in the
Shining lights that dress the sky
Oh-oh
But if you shift the story
You’ll see me hidden there in plain sight
Oh-oh

Emerging from the monster in the pool
I turn it all around
A darkness is bejewelled

There’s so much that can’t be known
Until you shift onto a different plane
Jets and beams will grow
Reaching out into the depths of space
Tune in to the shine
It hits you hard it hits you low
I’m a different galaxy
When you see me on the radio
Oh-a-oh
Devil’s got me Lindt! Devil’s got me Lindt!

Radio Galaxies - The Magnetic Letters

I shone my laser pointer into the sky
Traced the words "I love you"
You said "What would a being on an alien world
Looking back at us here in ten thousand years think?"
I said "This laser's five milliwatts, I don't think they'd see anything"
But that got me thinking

All that I need are some radio galaxies
And a really big magnetic field
I'd harness those relativistic jets
Spell out those words across millions of parsecs

Radio galaxies, red-shifted billboards
Will broadcast the beat of my heart
Orders of magnitude are noughts on a page
When I'm painting the sky with the stars

What if we made it past the horizon?
Pulled apart as we spiral in
Becoming one with the singularity
I could never be closer to you

Radio the Galaxies
Verse One
Though we may be on the same wavelength
We’re so far away
We’re as slow as 3 hertz
But it’s hurting today
When you yelled out to the heavens
The aliens came
Were they angels or devils?
They all look the same

Pre-Chorus One
The first contact was a commotion
When they said they want our oceans

Chorus 1 & 3
In a flash, we radioed the galaxies
With a dash of hope, we’d reach what needs to be
At last, we weren’t the only wet blue rock
And fast, we learned to square around the clock

Verse Two
You continue not to listen
It’s causing the rift
If we focus on the mission
The burden may shift
They just want all of our water
And half of our fish
All our lives are just fodder
To these sons of a bitch

Pre-Chorus Two
The space invaders were open
To obliterate those who opposed them

Chorus 2 & 4
Whoops! We radioed the galaxies
Oops! We advertised our bounty
Shucks! We’re sitting ducks for poachers
Flurb! Humanity gets closure

Pre-Chorus Three
We winced and cried until they left us
There’s no intergalactic justice (just us)

Chorus 1 & 3
In a flash, we radioed the galaxies
With a dash of hope, we’d reach what needs to be
At last, we weren’t the only wet blue rock
And fast, we learned to square around the clock

Chorus 2 & 4
Whoops! We radioed the galaxies
Oops! The first of our fallacies
Shucks! We’re sitting ducks for poachers
Flurb! Humanity gets closure
