The Wrong Girl
By Pipefist

I'm not a sucker, but there's somethin' about you
That throws my reason, you make me want to
Be a little rougher baby
I've got to know

Chorus:
Why do I want the wrong girl
Tell myself just a little longer
I've got to find the wherefore
The why that provides a therefore
Cause I can't help but be sure
That you are takin' me for a ride
You're the wrong girl
Yeah, you're the wrong

I am your monkey, for better or worse
I would not try to dispel this curse
I have become a junkie, honey
You are my drug

Repeat chorus

Scat part

Repeat chorus

The Wrong Girl, by Lonbobby

What's the harm in make believe
What is wrong when I can't breath
Can a lie be the same as the truth
What's the harm?

What's the harm in staying here
What is wrong when all I fear
Is a life that resembles this one
What's the harm?

What's the harm in being loved
What is wrong with the wrong girl
Can it be this life is easy
What's the harm?

The Wrong Girl lyrics by J$ and music by Andy Balham

The letters that you wrote arrived back home the other day
I thought they must have sent us back the wrong girl's photographs
The woman caught on camera was someone I never knew
This happy-snap the only time I'd ever seen you laugh
You're dressed in doeskin flannel suit, a shocking purple hue
The other students choking on the smoke of your cigar
Bravura show but all an act, no honesty displayed
This shield as thin as paper could not take you very far

CHORUS: The right girl in the wrong place
Or the wrong girl in the right place
Now you're gone girl, in endless night-time (2nd time: you lost your sightline)
You don't exist - not sure you ever did

You texted us an hour or so before you made the jump,
Accused me of mistreating you, things fathers shouldn't do
Said shame had driven you to stages too high to clamber down
The lights had burnt too brightly, then they spluttered out on you
Next day the tearful town found out, the gentle cops came round,
And I was lost in flashing lights. To keep your memory pure.
'You must have got the girl's name wrong', I proclaimed , my heart slumped.
That there was something wrong with you a father's love can't cure

CHORUS

The only time that you came home was for your funeral
You left to broaden your horizons, came home in a box
And brought with you two tickets for your parents to a show,
a drama of minute proportions, meaning firmly locked.
It closed before the opening night, the vision would not go
Of girl I loved, a dance of death, the strands of ghostly hair
Some people claim my heart is cold - is that unusual?
I'll never see this grave again, the wrong girl's buried there.

CHORUS

Alright, alright, alright, alright

Just a picture, smudge of lipstick and my instincts
The address - it had to be this
She was bleeding, she was screaming, she was reaching
For chairlegs that carelessly tipped
We were swimming in magazines and
I trashed the duplex rather ruthless; if the shoe fits
I'm kicking and sticking it in
All night
Little kitty, scared the kitty, scared the kitty
He huddled and puddled the floor
Then escaped to the patio
Got this feeling in my heels a broom to ceiling
The neighbors complain for the noise

On and on and on and on and on

I must admit I almost flipped, I almost skipped
But the madness - orgasmic! Divine!
I was one with the universe
Well, your lover and the other look so similar
It's easy to see them as twins
I'm sorry
It's an accident I never meant such violence
To innocent victims this much
So I'll send her some flowers and such
Might have asked her but the gag was in her mouth
Cause she screamed so incredibly loud

I'm sorry, sorry, whoever you are

She had fainted (well... asphyxiated) when... (Golfpunk! Golfpunk!)
A handy nine iron banged her knee caps in (Golfpunk! Golfpunk!)
She had fainted (well... asphyxiated) when... (Golfpunk! Golfpunk!)
A handy nine iron banged her knee caps in (Golfpunk! Golfpunk!)
I'm so sorry but it was the best bang
I never ever could have ever had with you and it's...

On and on and on and on and on

The Wrong Girl (The BeWells)

The summer sun still lingers though fall is in the air
I'm playing back the memories of moments we have shared
Longing for the promises the future holds in store
But I can see in your eyes you're wanting something more

Please don't ask me to tell you how I feel
Afraid of what my reluctance will reveal
I'm trying hard to see us through your eyes
Wanting you to be, hope I'll recognize
The right girl

Listening as the wind blows gently through the trees
Talk of love and making plans, the words you speak with ease
All the while I'm torn between staying here and being gone
But I can see you believe in us so I'll keep holding on

Please don't ask me to tell you how I feel
Afraid of what my reluctance will reveal
I'm trying hard to see us through your eyes
Wanting you to be, hope I'll recognize
The right girl

Why does something have to be wrong?
My love is true though not quite as strong
All these thoughts amidst the clutter and debris
Wondering if she sees me or merely dreams of what should be

Please don't ask me to tell you how I feel
Afraid of what my reluctance will reveal
I'm trying hard to see us through your eyes
Wanting you to be, hope I'll recognize
The right girl

Wanting you to be
Hoping I will see
Wanting you to be
Hoping I will see

"Like King Kong I'm very strong so tag along for some wrong way action
We both belong in a world that's wrong let's sing our song of Life disatisfaction
Waiting on New Avalon, pass the bong, that's what gives me satisfaction
I'm not that fond of pretty blondes so tag along, I'll put your heart in traction
Give me the wrong girl, don't take too long, girl
I want the wrong girl, at the right time because
Loneliness is a friend of mine"

The Wrong Girl
words and music by jack shite

all my friends
said you're the wrong girl for me
but you've got me so blind
i can barely see
once you got inside my head
i refused to let you out
i should have read between the lines
but i never had a doubt

well you took my will
bent it every way
all the things i let you do
all the things i let you say
but i didn't shed a tear
when you finally went away

well all my friends
said you're the wrong girl for me
but you've got me so blind
i can barely see
once you got inside my head
i refused to let you out
i should have read between the lines
but i never had a doubt

The Wrong Girl
by WreckdoM

I got a bag of frozen fruit cubes
I got a big box of gelatin
I got some aerosol whipped cream
and a fancy bowl to mix it all in
But then I saw the face of God
As I watched the liquid cool
He said that he had plans for me
and I would be his tool
He said I would spread his message
That I'd be famous, smart, and rich
He told me to find a special lady
to share my blessings with

So tell me again why your the wrong girl
Tell me again why your the wrong girl
Tell me again why your the wrong girl
Because I still don't understand

I got a new Swiss army knife
and I stabbed it through my tongue
I hacked up all my gums and teeth
and sawed off both my thumbs
I stuck the corkscrew in my throat
and slid the toothpick in my eye
I pierced my sternum with the can opener
and dug down deep inside

So tell me again why your the wrong girl
Tell me again why your the wrong girl
Tell me again why your the wrong girl
Because I still don't understand

The Wrong Girl
Magnetbox (C) 2005

I got a good wife
And I got a daughter
I guess I work a lot
To keep my quality of life
I guess I travel too much
I feel like I'm never around
I had to get the kid from school
But when I got home, my wife called me a fool

She said
You got the wrong girl...the wrong girl...the wrong girl...
Yeah!
You got the wrong girl...the wrong girl...the wrong girl...

I had to justify this to my wife
She thought I was a moron
I couldn't really argue with that
I haven't seen my kid enough
I can't remember what she looks like
There were a bunch of kids
C'mon, they all look alike
And I took home the wrong little tyke

Chorus

My wife made go back
To get my daughter
And return the girl I took
But guess who I met?
A couple of angry parents
I didn't know what to say
They just flagged me down
And they called me a clown

They said
Chorus

Lonbobby The Wrong Girl Lyrics

Post by Freddielove »

Sometimes you hear a song and though you can't really understand what is being sung, you fill in the blanks and pretend what is being sung is brilliant? Only later to find out how lame the lyrics really are.

I am happy to say that this time that isn't true. The lyrics to Lonbobby's song are on par, if not greater than, the music. They say just enough and read like poetry, great job.

The Wrong Girl - Words and Music Freddielove

Her looks are undersated
Shallow breaths and deep eyes
Her surface tension floats a promise
That sinks before high tide

The currents that have shaped her
Have sculpted finer lines
Who true course cannot be devined

He's standing by the ocean
He's swimming in a lie
He's drowning true emotions
To keep his high hopes dry

Before his ship departed
There was nothing to be gained
He knows the course he's charted
Cannot be maintained

WG WP WT She was the WG

They went to San Sebastian
They rang the tower bell
They'll reach an understanding
and soon he'll know it well.
Everything But the Girl but without the scary big chinned woman
