Nur Ein VI.4 - Patient Number 7
lyrics subject to change.
hey doctor, you've got what I need to feel right
hey, make me be the lucky one tonight
there were six before me, but they don't know who i am
i could just as well be the son of sam
a rapping at the door startles me upright
oh doctor, you make me feel alright
hey doctor, you've got what I need to feel right
hey, make me be the lucky one tonight
there were six before me, but they don't know who i am
i could just as well be the son of sam
a rapping at the door startles me upright
oh doctor, you make me feel alright
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

by BLT
-verse
I could see the look in their eyes
When they came to say their last goodbyes
Standing at a distance safely upwind as I breathe
God forbid you get too close and catch my disease
-bridge
No one will miss me when I'm gone
No one will miss me when I'm gone
-verse
Hear them whisper in the hallways, never call you by name
Everybody's got a number in the dying game
Thinking back to all the things that I really should have done
But here I'm lying and dying as useless as a condom full of cum
-chorus
No one will miss me when I'm gone
No one will miss me when I'm gone
No one will miss me when I'm rotting in the ground
No one will miss me when I'm gone, when I'm gone
No one will miss me when I'm gone
-verse
I can feel the life that I knew shedding all around
Like the fermented fruit on the trees falling to the ground
It's not true that you go out the same way you came in
I'm not cold, I'm not crying and I'm full of sin
-chorus X2
No one will miss me when I'm gone
No one will miss me when I'm gone
No one will miss me when I'm rotting in the ground

Patient number seven is going insane
Patient number seven needs a shot to the brain
Patient number seven is in cardiac arrest
Patient number seven seems to be possessed
Patient number seven is out of control
Patient number seven has escaped from the ward

Patient Number Seven
by John Kloberdanz
performed by John Klober and the Dances
(They didn’t care)
I was just a number
I was sharing a private room
They told me to wait a minute
The doctor would be along soon
My stomach had been hurting
And I was feeling dizzy and weak
Everyone said I didn’t look well
And it was getting hard to speak
(They didn’t care)
I thought they’d care
I was breathing the same air
It was hard to just sit in a chair
I was trying to rest right over there
I didn’t have health insurance
So they told me to just lay down
The receptionist said I looked ok
The doctor would eventually come around
(Cacophony hospital sounds, sirens, etc.)
They called me patient number seven
It was just after eleven
But they never got around for me
They called me patient number seven
Now I’m way up here in heaven
Maybe I waited too patiently
(They didn’t care)
I thought they’d care
I was dying right over there
It doesn’t seem fair
Why didn’t they care
Why didn't they care

Patient Number Seven - Paco del Stinko
Every day, he sat in the yard
Watching the other six go out and work hard
He could only pray that they'd call on him
But with his small size, his chances were slim
He kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting (and waiting)
He kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting
Every night, while falling asleep
He'd softly sigh and drift off into a dream
He'd put up a fight, too brutal to mention
Show off his might, and become the lead engine
He kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting (and waiting)
He kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting
He'd get his chance - To go up the hill
They'd understand - He'd show them his will
One afternoon, alone on the track
He counted as all of the others came back
With too big a load, the hill couldn't be crested
The yard chief told him, it was time to be tested
(I think I can - I know I can)
So he had puffed, and proven his worth
After patiently waiting for his re-birth
He showed he was tough, and he stood tall
Then he tooted his horn after besting them all
He kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting (and waiting)
He kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting
He got his chance - And went up the hill
He made them understand - He showed them his will
Every day, he sat in the yard

Bringin' the stink since 2006.

Patient Number Seven - Frankie Big Face
Patient number one had it coming
From the moment that he walked onto the ward
Beating brows and tipping tables
Like some wicked self-appointed overlord
Patient two had to swing
'Cause he witnessed everything
Now they're the most unlikely pair
Laying bare at the bottom of the fjord.
Patient number three looked at me
As if he knew about the malice in my heart
I grabbed a half-empty syringe
And hurled it at him like a tranquilizer dart
Patient four, wanting more
Helped me drag him to the shore
And then he dug a shallow grave
For the man who would soon be his counterpart.
Patient number five was still alive
When they wheeled him out and put him on the bus
Though I knew he couldn't talk without a tongue
The evidence seemed onerous
Just for kicks, patient six
Threw herself into the mix
Signed a full confession, waived her right to trial
And took the chair without a fuss.
Patient number seven had it coming
From the moment that he came onto the scene
The bullet blew away the secrets
That his conscience had been harboring for weeks
I closed the door on my past
And made this victim my last
And I can tell you this with no uncertainty
Because patient number seven was me.

Patient Number Seven
By Merisan
Patient number seven isn't feeling very well
He won't admit that he's ill, but I can tell
Even if there was a bandage that would fit
He'd never get used to it
He has a hole in his soul that's deeper than a well
But I've got the prescription for a lonely pout
Sometimes what you've been holding in
You've got to let it out
Mr. Sockmonkey has a temperature of sixty-nine
It might seem low to you, but for him, it's fine
And Miss Elephant has a nasty cold
The poor rubber ducky's growing mold
Let's try our hardest to keep him warm and dry
But I've got the prescription for a lonely pout
Sometimes what you've been holding in
You've got to let it out

In the darkness of my youth
She is laying out a spread
We are sitting on a cloth
The whole world is made of dots
Eating my favorite foods
There is darkness from above
We are screaming and we run
Storm clouds are raining blood
and I get mad, seven is mad
He needs his meds and he needs a nap
Standing in a smokey hall
Booze laughing on our breath
I make your song appear
There is lightning on your lips
Dancing in a neon flash
There is darkness from below
You collapse inside my arms
You are falling into parts
and I get mad, seven is mad
He needs his meds and he needs a nap

Patient* Number 7
by Ross Durand
This hill and I are one now
I guess I’ve been here for days
I dial in the clicks correcting for the wind
And tell myself the hunger doesn’t hurt
They took away my name and turned me into a killing machine
One who’ll outlast anything
Patient Number 7
That’s me
You gotta wait for the shot - I could
Mind over matter - I could
Out wait em all - I could
Who you gonna send when the shit is on the line?
They took away my name and turned me into a killing machine
One who’ll outlast anything
Patient Number 7
That’s me
And there you are
I got my finger on the trigger
Look both ways, but you won’t see me
No glint of the glass, no wave of the hair
I’m gonna wait till I see the white of your eyes
All hell will break loose
And I’ll be gone
*adj. - quietly and steadily persevering or diligent, especially in detail or exactness

Patient Number 7
For the first time in a while
I can see past my own hand
I may never understand
The places I have traveled
But now I'm bathed in light
As if I'm born anew
Experimental brew
Has made it all feel better
Praise to the scalpel
Regards to the pill
Thanks for all the instruments
applied when I was
cut by the stainless
then filled with lasting hope
and given to eternally push upon this rope
For the first time in a while
I can walk along the street
Hear the rhythm of my feet
Feel the breeze against my temple
But it's never very far
The edge of that abyss
Each step is hit or miss
When you've been down in the dark
If the past comes calling
(I won't go back again)
When the sun goes down
(I won't go back again)
If I feel myself falling
(I won't go back again)
When I hear that sound
(I won't go back again)

Re: Nur Ein VI.4 - Patient Number 7
you're looking at me in my restraints
wondering how'd a nice girl like me
end up in the seventh cage.
in this god forsaken place
so go ahead and ask me about my pain
maybe it can explain
the insanity
in your own brain
i heard them upstairs
knocking chairs around
i crept up to the top and I saw her
upside down.
i saw the top of his head
and i heard her
big surprise
and my eyes dropped down... to my feet
and i felt my stomach fly...
but the water's so cold at night.
yeah the water's cold at night
even colder when my hands are tied
yeah the water's cold at night
even colder when your hands are tied
this place gets pretty boring
i see your mouth is open wide
i see my need for restitution
gives you quite the ride…….
well I stayed calm and collected and
and i moved like a cloud
She lasted half a day
but I kept him around
for a longer time
and I showed him a trick or two
and his mind.. was mine
but the water's cold at night
even colder when the hands are tied
and now I wait
between rooms six and eight
remembering the taste
i gave you
on your last day………………….
and now it's very quiet
in my mind
since i committed to my sweet crime..
i painted all around my ache
you took the poison with your pain
and turnabout's fair play
and with a kiss ..you die
and the water's cold at night
the water's cold at night
even colder when the hands are tied
