Why you didn't write a song this week: Parkinson's Law

Post by jb » Thu Jul 14, 2016 7:14 am

"Work expands to fill the time allotted."

That's Parkinson's Law. So it stands to reason that if you didn't write a song this week, it's because you didn't allot any time to it.

Corollary:

"Work contracts to fit the time allotted."

Same result. If you don't set time aside for it, you're not going to do it. This shit ain't magic.

I wrote two songs this week, but it should have been three. Damn I hate that law.
I released my first album on January 26th, 2018.
