This 13' video might be informative and helpful for some folks who are brand new to programming. It is focused on electronic music but you could re-purpose some/all of it for other genres.



But maybe ignore his wonky circular notation. What a nerd!

Saw this awhile back. I like his circular patterns. I actually took some time at some point to program all those beats into my DAW just for reference. Not sure what I did with them though... doh!
