tracktion

Post by Poor June »

i downloaded the demo... and i can't open anything up in it...
it's and it'll only open up tracktion tracks... format 'trktion' or somethin' along those lines...
and i have no clue how to do that... and i can't just open up somethin' empty to record on or nothin'...
so i really have no clue how i can use it?

is there a way i can convert a file or somethin' so i can open it in tracktion?

when you're on the 'projects' page/tab/thing, select 'new project.."

the trktion files it opens and saves are full multitrack projects.

there's no reason to use the demo.. you can legally get the whole thing for free now.

Incidentally, I got a link in my e-mail for the whole thing and the thing went poo poo ca ca on me and demanded 80 dollars from me for the whole version. Is it cuz I'm Canadian Craig? Curious cuz I am kinda interested in that mackie software or atleast want to give it a go, although I'm kind of a Cubase slut. Pop a link if you know what's up. Followed the procedures pretty good and still got hooped. Anyway, not sure why, but I'm thinkin' it's cuz I'm a Canuck....... *sniff*

I have to say tried this on two different computers, downloaded different tracktion keys, followed their instructions - wouldn't work. Nice front-end interface, though.
