Take it, man.

The Trash Rats is pretty good, BLT. But if I'm allowed to use TRASH (assuming me and the other bands never blow up), I think I might just use it.

Did we have Reist-n-Roll yet? Reist-a-Roni? These are bandnames to strike fear into the other bands!

well, I came up with a band name in the shower three days ago, and upon some level of reflection, I'm sold.

honestogod

I think it sums up what I'm going for, and there's no band with the same name. I already picked up the myspace page and youtube channel for it. It's cooler than Frank and more descriptive of what I'm going for than Trash. What do you guys think?

When I read it my brain divided it into Honest Ogod. Which gives me the mental image of an ogre in an Abraham Lincoln hat. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that this is awesome.

haha, if I choose to use it, you'll be the first to know.

however, my bet is that my first few albums will be decorated by straight up photography - as much as I love the other forms of visual art.

I find it disconcertingly non-symmetrical.

There are three words there, and the first overlaps with the second, allowing them to share a letter. Unfortunately, the second doesn't overlap with the third, so the game is up. I like the strategy, it just fails in the execution.

Some examples of the format that might have worked for me include meetwelvelves , weaturnips, or bigolfingermans.

On the other hand, good job.

Sorry Reist, I don't like it. So that means it's probably good.

But I just see it as another God sell out band, which has become so pathetic, I can hardly stand it. No one really likes that crap, they just pretend that they do. A bunch of Christian 20 somethings that like a band because it has something religious in the name. Then they have free gigs at the church with the message of the lord, abstinence and a substance free lifestyle, sell CDs to a bunch of mindless retards because the proceeds go to the church, then they take the CD home, put it in a drawer and never listen to it again because it sucks. Then they break out the bong, take a few rips, play beer pong with their friends, take their Christian girlfriend home and pop her in the pooper.

....I'm starting to think that maybe 3 cups of coffee is just one too many for me. God, if you are listening, please help me get this caffeine monkey off my back. Image

......actually, if you really are listening, you know I'm just kidding, right? .....about the caffeine?

If I went with the band name Lint, do you think these guys would give me any trouble?

http://www.lintmusic.com/home.html

EDIT: damn, there's a band called lint in calgary already. http://www.myspace.com/lintlintlint ... why are all the band names taken already?

ps - I'm wondering - if there's a band called Trash, would I get in trouble for calling my band TrasH?

Current list of half decent names:
Lint
honestogod
TrasH
EEP
The Short Bus
