It's probably overkill, but I'm really impressed with the Tascam US800 for $99 on sale on MF. Basically, that thing you saw there with a bunch more inputs. I bought one to check out and used it a couple of times. I found it worked great out of the box and sounded good. Also, it came with Cubase 5LE. Such a deal for $99!

Dang, I wish I waited for that one! My focusrite is ok, but I paid 3 times that and didn't get the new Cubase.
