I just bought the full version of Cubase 6 (Elements has some features pared down, to make it more cost-effective), and I highly recommend this. I'd been using Cubase 4LE, and before that Adobe Audition. I was amazed how many of my recording problems just disappeared when I switched over to Cubase 6.

Thanks for the pointer. I'm going to have to try this out to compare it with Logic, since I'd like an option for jumping ship from the Mac if Apple continues on the way they've been going lately.
