Mark Mothersbaugh's vintage synths

I haven't watched this yet but it looks like there could be some good gear-lust inducing moments in it:

Thanks for posting, it's a really cool video. There's definitely some gear lusting, but he doesn't go into to too much detail of what's what, it's more him just talking about synths in a general sense and then cuts here and there of him playing some really cool sounding, weird instruments. My favorite part is when he explains "We Love Sausage" which I now really want to write a song about :-) It'd probably make a great Song Fight Title.

I just got to watch it. Yeah, it's great, though I was hoping for more stories like the one about his MemoryMoog. But some good "WTF is that thing?!?! Awesome!" moments. Mark Mothersbaugh totally rules!!! We should totally to get him to do Song Fight! under an alias.

I gotta admit, during most of the video, I didn't know who he was (haven't listened to much DEVO) so I was wondering how the hell he could afford all of that ridiculously expensive gear. :-)

I knew him as the guy behind Rugrats' music before I knew he was a part of Devo.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

I also love that he threw a nonchalant ancient alien reference in there. It's kind of a pet interest of mine as well.
