No Age's "Fever Dreaming" - video's a bit 'wotever' but the song is cracking, especially for those weird guitars sounding like 70s synths sections ...

Re: What are you listening to right now?
This will be pretty boring for most of y'all, but... 47 years after being totally blown away by the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, I finally own a copy of Sgt. Pepper (and Revolver). Also got a "Best of Pete Townshend" CD and Roger Daltrey, Under a Raging Moon. Daltrey is one of my very very favorite rock vocalists - I saw somewhere that he was considered for the American Idol judge job that Steven Tyler ended up with.
Have also been listening to the songs from King Arthur vol. 10, figuring out a song order and playing with re-EQing some of the mixes. I may actually pull the stereo channels inward a bit on some of the songs, or add some wash reverb to try to pull things inward a bit.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
KMFDM has a new album coming out with the appropriate name, WTF?! Damn, Sascha has been at it for like 25 years and still puts together some great industrial. I'm more of a rocker, but I love me some good German industrial on a Friday night.
A couple that got me pumped.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
I was just turned on to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
I was digging the alternative/grunge simple-song-structure thing... then HOWL hit me and the modern-blues-country thing really hit home for some reason.
I listened to the song "Fault Line" for about 4 hours yesterday while straightening my garage. win!

That's pretty cool, Bill. I bet they sound great live. Electronica sonically fills a stadium or club so good.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
They Might Be Giants came out with a new album today, and digital copies are only $4 on Amazon.
It's pretty good. Has a lot of the production hallmarks of latter-day TMBG, but lyrically it's closer to Apollo 18 than anything else. Not bad so far. Check it out.

JET. Is this a bad thing? Not as good as Glenn Case, but pretty rocking.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
roymond, these are good questions. I don't post here (in this bit) hardly because lots of times I am afraid I will get my musician's license taken away. I dunno that Jet falls into this category, but some of the music I listen to is unapolegetically sillydumb. Just because.

Well, it sort of depends on the "etc." part, I guess. I was just asking a musical question, but hey, whatever...Billy's Little Trip wrote:Are you gonna be my girl, etc.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
A traditional carol from the 15th century. By Anonymous 4. I listen to this a lot though just because I like their singing, and I used to be in an early music ensemble. Back in "the day.."
