Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

Any good? I hate getting haircuts, but if I don't get them often enough, my hair naturally grows into a nasty mullet-shag look.

Frankly, I think he cut it a bit square. But then again, my hair is shitty at the best of times.

For reference, it used to be down to my shoulders. I subscribe to the 2 haircuts a year methodology.
Why does everyone across the pond look like the Beatles? Is the Queen Mother really all ya'alz Mum? << note: redneck and Euro talk all in one.

I just had dinner and I feel infinitely better. It's one of those vicious cycle things where I feel tired and depressed and too crappy to cook, but then I force myself to cook something and then I'm all <3 <3 <3 and then when I eat I feel awesome.

Also, now I know why the French cook steak in butter instead of olive oil. Delicious!

If you only get 2 haircuts a year, that's actually a pretty solid haircut. It should poof up (in a good way) within a few days, and nobody will notice anymore.

First off, how did you cook it, and second, why is it lesser than 3 several times? Actually I'm not that out of the L33t loop, that means "heart", like love, right?
Funny you would use the "Internetional" heart symbol and talk about cooking in butter at the same time. :P

Lightly seasoned a sirloin steak with salt and pepper, melted a pat of butter, added the steak to the butter, seared, flipped, cooked to medium, put onto a plate to rest, added a sliced mushroom and deglazed the pan with Chardonnay, added some halved steamed Brussels sprouts and the drippings from the steak and a clove of crushed garlic, let the sauce reduce some (and of course the Brussels sprouts soaked a lot of it up too), added a pat of butter to the sauce, plated it all up nicely, and served.

(Usually I use olive oil, and don't add any fat to the sauce. And usually I'll do some caramelized onions or shallots instead of the Brussels sprouts.)

Sounds great. I'd do the same, but with mushrooms. But I do <Image3 those little cabbages, so I'll have to try that. I always eat them and make Godzilla sounds.
....I'm fun to eat with.

So you'd do it exactly like my way, except with mushrooms instead of mushrooms?

And my cat is named ... Spooky! No, just kidding. Valentine and Chesapeake, actually. Speaking of birthday paradoxes, if I know the one you mean, we seem to have beat the odds... in a group of 30 people we had 4 with the same birthday (mine). Only two remain, though.

For what it's worth, my "always in the studio/slash/guest room/slash/animal hangout", cat is named Sierra. She likes the smell of electronics.

Nah, I was not genuinely confused... I realized that Australia was founded by English rejects (as a rehabilitation project) just the same as our own state of Georgia was.

I wasn't trying to relate as much as I hadn't thought of looking up convicts in the family. But thanks though as I am often genuinely confused!
