Bad news! It turns out that my face isn't smart enough to grow a moustache to a decently waxable length in thirty days or less, so my pizza is free, and I was forced to carve out this ridiculous affront to masculine grooming:

Image

Consider it my own personal paean to seventies pornography! The flash from my camera is like the light of a thousand angels, all singing joyfully in chorus. Hallelujah, you goofy-looking man!

Also I didn't write a song about moustaches, but I did spend more time than is reasonable dancing about my home singing the theme song from Saul of the Mole Men. Hopefully that counts for something. Now, if y'all will excuse me, it is time to go out and scare away young ladies.

Absolutely love how you did this! Even better than the original. If there is voting for Movember songs, this is the winner.

Just found this and that's a fantastic cover Ray, truely excellent (better than the original in my opinion) apart from the songfight archives is there anywhere available where I could obtain any other of your workings?

Pretty much everything I've done is here on Songfight.

There are a few covers from various sidefights etc. still hanging around on my webspace:

Taxman (The Beatles)
Run Run Run (Velvet Underground)
Outside Paradise (The Hell Yeahs) featuring Flvxxm Flvvrm
Fight The Sea (Heuristics+Starfinger)
Elvis In Space (Johnny Cashpoint) featuring Marcus Kellis
Budapest By Blimp (Thomas Dolby) featuring Paco del Stinko
Need Stilts (Glen Case) featuring my wife

also:
The Price Is Right - a remix of a song written and performed by Roymond's son Jason
and
The Jig Is Up which was for the one-off Longfight! by The Voice Inside Penny's Caravan (me, my wife and The Voice Inside Your Head)

and 2 songs over at Tuneflow

plus the Nur Ein stuff some of which can still be found at

Okay, so it's almost three months in, and my moustache is finally long enough for waxing! I am all set for Halloween, midsummer fancy dress parties and Wild West job interviews. My only problem is that it is no longer 1870-- where the hell do I find moustache wax for sale?

I may have to give hair gel a try. I can curl out the sides but they don't stay put. I want to go out in public and charm the ladies with my classy mo! Also I am kind o fdrink ruight now, but that is just by the by.

Apparently it is still 1870 in Oregon. Either that or just try using ear wax. That's just as good. Probably.
